Hello could somebody tell me how to fix Lurtz's carnage exploit, if you switch to bow immediatly after using carnage then back to sword, u get infinite splash damage even after carnage is over.

I think Carnage weapon replaces Lurtz bow in  his weaponset, as after having this glitch working hes not able anymore to use the bow.

As you can notice, he's not red, he's on bow and he kills multiple enemies at once.

 

(minas ithil shield my own texture pack xD)

I'd say post the code of lurtz which you have, the object, the weapons nd such :p

It's the default code of lurtz, not in a custom map.

You can try it, it works everywhere.

Bfme2.... but i think the same code goes in rotwk so it may glitch there too

I didn't manage to get the glitch to occur, but maybe I should test a bit more, seems highly unlikely though that the hero mode weaponset somehow stays enabled though :p

Well, the solution could be to disable the weaponswitch in carnage-mode:

 

CommandButton Command_ToggleLurtzWeapon
    Command            = TOGGLE_WEAPONSET
    Options            = TOGGLE_IMAGE_ON_WEAPONSET
    FlagsUsedForToggle    = WEAPONSET_TOGGLE_1
    TextLabel               = CONTROLBAR:ToggleLurtzWeapon
    ButtonImage             = HSLurtzSword HSLurtzBow
    ButtonBorderType        = ACTION
    DescriptLabel           = CONTROLBAR:ToolTipToggleLurtzWeapon
    InPalantir        = Yes
    DisableOnModelCondition = HERO ; -> or WEAPONSET_HERO_MODE, check this
End

 

 

You can only use the CrippleStrike with your bow, so it should be comprehensible to prohibit Carnage with the bow. :thumbsupcool:
