lel it means one less villain for Batman and Robin to give a can of whoopass.
But on a serious note, Boris is supposed to die on the first Soviet mission. Why do you think the Statue of Liberty is replaced by the Statue of Boris in the same place where Boris died which is in New York City?
I based it on this picture where the Boris statue looks very similar to the destroyed Statue of Liberty, who knows maybe there will be a mission in Act 2 or a skirmish map where you see the Boris Statue in NYC.

It is stated by the meisters themselves that Boris is supposed to die to make room for Volkov and Chitzkoi in the game. As cool as Boris is, Volkov is still better IMO.

Well, he died on that way becoz Speeder is a sick guy
But yeah, as far as I remember, there were some changes on the mission, where Boris will have a bigger participation... but he will still die.

Maybe the reason his health tics down for 'lore' is that he had too much vodka... or maybe he did not enough vodka.

Speeder is not a sick guy. The sick guy is the one will sent Boris to die to four Shadows in a certain hero spotlight. The sickness was witnessed by our in-house commentator Zenothist, who simply shrugged and said 'never mind'.
