Hi, i think i've posted here a long time ago about unit ideas.. And because of my inability to mod, and my bad artistic skills, i always post sum ideas begging for modders to make them :D.
I think i've already said these ideas before..

My Ideas :

A flying aircraft carrier. I mentioned this before, and creator personally told me that it was impossible to make the unit move and command aircraft at the same time, but i came up with another idea to fix that.
A long time ago, that idea was rejected until i played CNC reborn. As many people know, CNC reborn has a lot of naval units. And my love for naval units i kept plaiyng them. but i noticed one thing. When you build a battleship in CNC reborn, it moves, it fires, and do the commands a normal unit would do. But i found out something interesting. It could even create escort commanches. I built them and saw that i couldjn't command these commanches. they were FOLLOWING the battleship, and escorting it, protecting it. So i thought, Could it be possible to make a huge flying aircraft carrier, that could do the same thing?
but instead build like 10 escorts each.

Another idea i came up for the flying aircraft carrier was another air unit. I'm actually thinking of creator making this kind of mid air battleship.
Go to that link and you'll see. The titan is from bf 2142 and i thought, " maybe if you could make that thing more armored and a bit longer/bigger. Anyway, my other idea for this titan was that you could make those hovering aircraft jsut like in bf 2142. since you can't make real airplane escorts in CNC generals, I thought why can't we make a unit that can hover, fly fast, and attack? If you see a lot of the bf 2142 vids you can see scenes of the aircraft i'm talking about fly like an airplane while having the ability to hover and attack.

Oh and how can i forget? The one thing that EA games didn't think of for the most dangerous bomb ever made. This isn't a unit, it's a superweapon. The Atomic Bomb. I was thinking that yo ucould add this to the superweapon general. I know i know, it's way to strong. but i thught, you can make a commmand post for the atomic bomb as the sw building, and make an AIRPLANE drop the bomb. that way it's possible that the airplane may not make it to it's target, and harmlessly fall to the ground.

well, that's it for my ideas. I really hope that you could add the flying aircraft carrier.
You gatta admit, i thought this thru and it's possible to make it right??

Wishing to speak with mod team..

Hi, after all these years of stupidly trying to mod games, I found something that I may get better at.
I found a program called Rhinocerous Evaluation version (because milkshape doesn't work on vista I think ).
After watching tutorials on youtube, I finally understood the concepts of modelling and the basics.
Though I have a lot to learn, I was hoping if I could help the production of this mod and speed up releases.
I could be just a guy who models with permission on a unit I thought of.



This link gives you a vid showing some of the act of war high treason units.
If you pause at 1:32, it shows you a tank with this huge pot on it's back.

I was wondering if I could remodel the unit with my own ideas to make it like a portable particle cannon.
Since SW gen don't have a special unit, I thought I could make it for the SW gen. And if that makes the SW gen to uber, we could replace the lazer god unit with this one.

Just an idea, but i still want to join the team.

questions and suggestions

Umm i'm new to this forum, and I thought up some questions and suggestions while playing the contra mod 005.
Questions:

1. will the mod have naval units for future releases?
If the naval units is planned, will there be mappers making more naval maps?

2. Is there any mappers in the modding team and are they planning to make any official maps?

3. This question has been answered a million times, but estimated, how long do you think the next release could take? If the question is so annoying, could you post a thread on list of things to come or the list of things that are finished?

4. Will there be more generals added for contra mod v1 full?

5. how will you pick people for testing on coming releases? :
people who are in the mod team
people who have helped make the mod at least a little
people who have just been wandering this forum and wanting to help, and take part, but can't because
of the lack of modding skill

6. if you go with the people who have been just wandering forums and wanting to help option, can I mabe be a beta tester or anything that may help the modding team? (I have no modding skills)

Suggestions:

1. 3 more generals for future releases : USA: Defence & Tech general China: Artillary general Gla: Amphibious general

2. God units for each general : USA : Avalanche : A white moving fortress with a shield generator in the middle. It lacks AA defences but is very strong on ground and heavily armored.

China : Artillary general : Metal Storm : seen in the zero hour reborn and destructive forces, it looks like an overlord with two cannons that fire long range artillary shells. Devastatingly powerful, it can pwn everything that this artillary hits. NO upgrades can go onto this baby though, so that air units can easily penetrate it's armor.

GLA : Amphibious General : Aircraft Carrier & Naval Units are buildable : Amphibious general is the only general that is able to build naval units. New structure with contruction yard builds PT boats and amphibious transports. THAT'S IT. Oh, it can build ONE stolen aircraft carrier from the USA.

these are my ideas and questions.
Hope creator considers it.
Oh and one more question: Is there anything I can do to help the progress of this mod?
I'm not sure if i'm not a good voice actor but acting voices shouldn't be too hard...
I also have a keen eye out for bugs, so i can test up coming releases.
