I have discovered fan edits of films I enjoy. So far, Ive watched indiana jones and the kingdom of the crystal skull - and it was soo much better. The prequel star wars trilogy - equally improved. and now Im moving on to the hobbit films

Nope. Completely removed. The only reference is when balin is telling bilbo.

I'm guessing that Azanulbizar, White Council & Dol Guldur would be in a fan-edited LotR-Hobbit bridge film.

the white council is still there. just trimmed. Azanulbizar is trimmed and the story between azog and thorin is better told. We (the audience) find out that Azog is chasing them, but the dwarves dont find out until the climax. Even with the great goblin hinting, the dwarves seem to be clueless. So thorins revelation amid the burning forest is better. DOS is pretty good. Ive watched half. the movie is 90 mins now..

Only just realized you had 1983 on the end of your name. So, for as long as I've been here, I've never noticed you had numbers after NJM. What?!

Lol. Yeah thats kind of interesting. They arent important though, im unimaginative so I used my initials and then the year I was born as my name. Most every one just refers to me as njm so im good with that anyway

I didnt do the "nicking" though it seems to be a dvd rip with occasional writing popping up "this copy authorized for" then a blurred strip.

the online movie i was watching had the same "this copy is authorized for" and the blurred stip guess we got it from the same source

This makes me nostalgic. My dad brought me up on Tolkien, and so I became possibly a bigger Tolkienerd than him!

I like the part were you teach him to map. :)
I have found ways that I can use Worldbuilder in a geography lesson. Being able to build a mountain or valley or plains is incredible for learning about them.
