It's too hard to make a tutorial covering all this stuff, would be very long and in short you wouldn't learn much but just copy what's written and try and apply it elsewhere, without understanding it

Well I don't mean having it all together in a single tutorial. I couldn't even find a tutorial about creating a hero.

All of these are possible, although some anims would be missing eg.:

Level 7: Consume (hero eats a regular unit to regain health and gain a moderate attack boost)

They're are no anims for this, IIRC, so you'd have to try and make it as convincing as possible.
The problem here is, if you're unfamiliar with map.ini, then people aren't going to want to show you this. It involves not just weapons and special powers, but FX's which are arduous to make (for me) :p. If you have no experience then jumping in at the deep end will provide you with lots of frustration.

What's to animate for that? You just make it look like a normal lunge attack and baddabing, your consume. I'm not really worried about animation details. It doesn't have to look believable, just has to look like something. It's an editable game and if I start worrying about perfection in the start I'll never get this thing done.

If it's still not possible I can always change it, I have a problem-solving mind set so let's see.

Level 7: Soothing Flames (acts like a stronger Athelas)

As far as weapons go, I'm pretty much planning to leave them with the same mouths and claws they were given, just of different strength.

For the time being, I'll take anything I can get as long as it goes with these guidelines and the "heroes" can actually stand up against a wave of enemies well enough.

In short, people can't be bothered to tutor :p

Figured, but there's not even a tutorial for this crap, if there were it'd make this whole thing a hell of a lot easier.

You want to put heros into a map that do not exist in the original game??? (if u said that b4 then i did not notice that :p )

If you do then you might have to concider 'replacing' some units or whatever :p

Ok, if I replace the units, such as a regular Warg, Wolf, Spiderling/Shelob, Wight, and Drake, how would I give them the powers I need to give them and change their max level to level 10?

This is the list of the "Heroes" I'm trying to create for this arena. If I can at least be shown how to do one, I know I can do the rest.
