decided to pause the game and go to desktop, and found out i couldn't return to the game. clicking on the game icon in the taskbar causes the game sounds to start playing but the game screen does not display. i'm stuck with desktop screen. it's like the game window is entered but i can't see it. i was playing with fullscreen.

Same issue. If you return windows, you cannot go back to game in full screen. Looks like need to play borderless

Your ISP probably doesnt support IPV4 Dual stack. in that case VPN is the only sollution

Could you elaborate a bit more how dual stack is affecting this? I think I got it. My ISP  seems to be running most of his core in IPV6 looking at the stats and it seems that going to cnc online server in IPv4 is the problem. Weirdly, this used to work few months ago. Wondering what did they change...

I have been working with Medstar (on Discord) and he has been helping me with it throughout the time.. Till now the only way I can play the game online (YES!! I CAN PLAY) is by using Windscribe VPN!! Thanks to Medstar! 

 

Had further queries though, I tried redeeming my products through Steam and Origin. It did not work (said, Key invalid) - is there any way to get the serial numbers registered to Steam or Origin (other than buying it again)? Let me know

Unfortunately no, you cannot redeemed your old CD key to Origin. I opened a ticket about it to them years ago and they told me.
