Fudge's maps are just as good or better than most of mine, and he always gives himself too little credit :p

I definitely wouldn't have been mapping without matt's tutorials and the spot he nabbed for me on the TDH team. Fords of Bruinen is still probably one of my favourite maps.

MtL is probably my other favourite, along with NJM. I always enjoy looking through their work in the SEE threads.

That's one of my favourites too

Either that or somewhere around Umbar? Have a look at this map maybe. Not really canon but if you write a descent map description no-one would know.

All these maps are looking great by the way.

I think it's really quite good. And don't be shy about uploading more maps, it's always nice to see some new talent, especially these days!

I agree with Rad in that you should set all those non-player rohan buildings to the civilian team, but i don't think they're too confusing or anything. You've placed them in a way that they obviously don't belong to any rohan players that might have control of that outpost/castle.

There's quite a few untextured tiles floating around though, just use the paint bucket (shift+click) to replace the grey textures with one of your ground textures.
And i'd maybe consider using a different grass type, one that doesn't stand out so much. Again, pretty easy to replace them with ctrl+m to select all of them, then edit>replace and pick a different shrub.

I think it looks fine. Rivers change over time, who's to say the small streams you can see aren't remnants of a bigger river that has either changed/been dammed since forming the gorge, or has heavy floods during winter/spring.

And i'd say it'll look darker/more realistic in game, when you see it with trees, shrubs, rocks, clouds, animals etc.

You could possibly name it Ringlo Vale or something too. Or Hills of Evendim or Weather Hills maybe, if you think it suits somewhere more North.
