1) ThetaOrion isn't indending to "stalk" Larkin, he's just insane and persistent, so he keeps trying to push forward his stupid idea. It's really nothing to get your panties in a bunch about. His horribly long stupid posts amuse me, but my viewpoint about them took a while to change. I feel more pity towards him than annoyance these days since he clearly needs proper medication for his condition.
2) I can confirm that LodeStone and ArmyAnt are ThetaOrion
3) "... but I cannot speak for DOWPro - which is an exaggerated mess of people all wanting something..." wtf? I'm not really sure what that even means, but it sounds negative. Negative bias against DoWpro is really tiresome and usually pointless. It's not like we're a bunch of hooligans who don't correct our disruptive behavior.
4) Almost forgot, Larkin, if you come back, there's always a place for you on the team. If not, good luck with whatever you spend your time on in the future.

This is the wrong forum for that sort of question, you'll probably get better help here:
http://forums.relicn...isplay.php?f=96
That said, it's in racebps. You should (probably) use the AE to edit it and look for:
GameData["race_squad_cap_table"]["base_squad_cap"] = 10.00000
GameData["race_squad_cap_table"]["base_support_cap"] = 1.00000
GameData["race_squad_cap_table"]["max_squad_cap"] = 20.00000
GameData["race_squad_cap_table"]["max_support_cap"] = 20.00000

The most important factor is still skill.Certain maps favour certain races: Mortalis favours races that are good in Close combat. Eldar will loose here most of the time. I tried it myself. I used 3 Eldar (one of them was me) versus 3 Chaos on HARD, once in the SL mod and once in the AI mod. The result was the same: Eldar lost big time.
This is absurd. It's true that large maps give an advantage to Eldar, but it has nothing to do with CC vs Ranged.-The map layout
(small maps favour CC, so Orks and Chaos will be better)
(large maps favour SM and Eldar, they are very mobile And Eldar can build webgates everywhere)
(maps with chokepoints favour ranged units, e.g. IG)
With the exception of things like Prism spam and mass ATs, the AI doesn't make imbalances apparent.Without a working AI you will NEVER see any imbalances.
There's two kinds of imbalance, internal imbalance and external imbalance. Internal means that for a specific situation, between a pair of strategies, a particular race always wins with one over another (WA example, making reapers instead of rangers, or deciding to make ASM instead of tactical marines). External imbalance is between two races, for example an IG player who uses the commissar rush vs SM.
The AI doesn't play well enough to expose early game external imbalances.

Ok, here's Mortalis, 3 Eldar vs 3 Chaos, annihilate only, insane difficulty. 15 minutes instead of 10 minutes, I don't understand what's so interesting about killing buildings, but whatever.

I posted two reps on Mountain Trail... I think it becomes less and less relevant as there's more AIs. But whatever, I'll play one vs AI on Burial Grounds and see how that goes.
4 Eldar vs Ork, Chaos, IG, SM
AI on Hard, with resource sharing, I floated lots of req as usual, towards the end I was wondering why I couldn't make an Avatar, then I remembered I needed to research MfW... I started near the IG, and since the AI can't bunker it was a slaughter. IG vs Eldar is already a bad matchup on most maps (in Eldar's favor in my opinion, but other people with more skill disagree with me on that).

I'll do another one with 3 Eldar vs 3 SM on soul forge (that's a standard map, right?), that last one was kinda fun. Good way to practice macro. Ok, so... I don't like that map very much, the high and low areas are annoying. That said, me plus 2 AI Eldar won vs 3 AI SM with the AI difficulty on Insane. I think I made some critical mistakes, or I would have won sooner, but this one took something like an hour and 40 minutes. Anyway, here it is:

Here's 3 Eldar vs 3 SM, Insane on Mortalis. It's a much more reasonable 10 minute length.
