releasing all my particle systems...

hey, haven't been around in a while, but i thought i'd stop in and give a little christmas present to you guys.

anyways, these are all the custom particle systems i created for my cancelled tta heroes mod. if you've ever done any fx modding, you probably know that it's the particle systems, not the fxlist, which defines most of the characteristics of how they look. as i have no further use for them, feel free to take them, modify them, learn from them, use them in your own mods, whatever.

Note: most of these have been designed to act as temporary fx for moves like blademaster. you may need to change the lifetimes if you choose to use them for something else
2nd Note: a couple of these have been designed very specifically, and may not look very good when used in other ways.

Hurricane Rita

I live in houston, texas, so the hurricane is the hot topic of the week here. At the very least i'll probably get some heavy flooding + power outage. On the good side, school has been canceled for the rest of the week (thurs & fri). Just wondering if anyone else here might be affected by the storm...

Third Age Heroes Mod

Hello all, i've been posting on the ME Vault forums for a while now. Anyways, i've been working on this mod for a few weeks now. It will add (all from The Third Age video game) 6 new heroes, 6 powers for each (36 total), and custom particle systems for each.

As i can't mode1 or skin, there will be no new ones in this mod.

It will include: Berethor (boromir mode1), Idrial (LA elf mode1 - sword only), Elegost (faramir mode1 - bow only), Hadhod (gimli mode1), Morwen (mode1), and Eoden (eomer mode1). So far, I everyone but eoden ingame, with all of their effects working. I still have to add eoden and his FX, as well as do some major tweaking to weapons, attribute modifiers, timers, levels, etc. I would estimate that i am roughly 70% done with this mod.

I realize that one of the other members on this forum had an idea for a TTA mod, but i never saw it go anywhere, and i wanted to make my own. (I did not purposefully take anything from it)
