Clean installed ra2 from origin and it's still not working; tried a cracked version and it was pretty spotty too (as in I had same files as host, someone else didn't but the game started and they could play instead of crashing). When I try hosting it crashes as usual, but the host may or may not crash if I'm in their game. At this point I don't know what's wrong

I think I know the problem, but I'm not completely sure if that's what's causing the error. My gamemd is patched to 1.0.1.1, but I can't seem to be able to downgrade it to 1.001 since the patch exe I downloaded isn't working

I can't seem to play multiplayer for some reason, as it says my game files are different from everyone else. I recently downloaded the game from origin, and the only differing file that I know of is the DDraw patch to fix the black screen in the vanilla game. Once I click launch with someone else ready, the game just crashes and an error pops up. I don't remember what it said and it's hard to test it since nobody wants to help
Same problem as stickpge I think, and deleting the dll breaks mental omega on startup
