Q. Why does my game freeze on match start or never finishes loading?
A. Using Generals on Windows Vista/7/8 can cause game freezes. Run the game as Administrator and in Windows XP SP 3 compatibility mode to avoid issues. This issue is not GenTool specific, but GenTool can increase the chances. Additionally some AntiVirus/Security/Firewall programs such as McAfee, Kaspersky or similar can cause this issue. Uninstall those programs if necessary and test their influence on Generals' connectivity.

Already read this 3 days ago, running as admin and sp 2, I don't have sp3

 

 

i have done this yet it doesnt work.

xp sp3 and run as administrator yet the exact same problem

seems like the exact same problem i have, any way you fixed this? got the freezing as well. I load myself but the other player doesnt and then it freezes in game

try WinXp Sp2 compatibility
Run as Administartor

Not working either.. I've checked run as admin and compatibility sp2
