Did you check this video on mounting?

also,

If you are having an issue starting the game because you get an error saying the wrong CD is inserted:

Solution: Go to the BFME2 installation folder (Program Files\Electronic Arts\The Battle for Middle-earth™ II) Right click lotrbfme2.exe, Properties -> compatibility -> Change Settings for all users -> tick out the compatibility mode.

I feel quite stupid now.

I totally overlooked the SCSI mount.

It works now thank you!

Sorry for all the trouble I've caused you.

You can not start the game with the mini images, you have to mount them (what you did, but make sure you use the daemon tools version I linked above) and afterwards start it with the T3A launcher as usual.

When I have the mini images loaded and start the game it still says I need a cd like here: http://gyazo.com/c65...a76a12e943a94ed

I think I have to be able to run the mini images before I can start playing the game. But I don't know where to go from here since nothing seems to work..

I said, the mini images are not to be run, they just make the game think that the original CD is inserted if they are properly mounted with daemon tools. You can not actually run anything from the mini images, you must start the game normally via the launcher.

Please make sure to describe exactly step by step what you did and tried so that I can understand the situation better.

Alright. Here are the steps I followed:

1. I mounted the Mini image.

2. I ran the game via the normal launcher as administrator.

3. It still asks for a cd.

Hope this clears things up a little.

Alright I tried something and it still didn't work.

Now here's the deal. I can't start the game because there seems to be no cd like it says here: http://gyazo.com/1e5...999d941f966e94c

But the thing is I do have the mini images in the right place like here: http://gyazo.com/bad...44ae86108cbba9c

As soon as I start Daemon Tools to mount the images, it says the cd is used for pictures in stead of the game like so: http://gyazo.com/ef7...417860e15bd2103

I then figured that opening the autorun in the mini images file would work.

But I stumbled onto this: http://gyazo.com/3bf...7a0a0777fd8d2ad

I have no idea on how I can fix this, so please help me out :)

Sorry for 'spamming' all these links.

It seemed like the easiest way to explain my problem.

Can't install the game correctly, when I have it installed and try to start the game it says that there is no CD even though I do have the mini images.

When I mount the mini images and try to run it, it says the mounted cd is corrupted/not able to use on my version of windows even though I'm running on a 64-bit windows 7.

If I do some weird stuff it will eventually let me boot with the normal install cd, but when I try to join lobbys it says I have the wrong version of bfme2.

So I then tried to install the patch switcher, and switched to the patch the other people were playing on. After that it again said I needed a cd to start the game.

Hey, which program are you using to mount the images? If it is Daemon Tools, make sure to try http://forums.revora...images-mounted/

Also, don't try weird stuff ;). Make sure to run as admin and with/without compability mode (try both).

I am indeed using Daemon Tools and tried what you've said but it still doesn't quite work. I'm going to try something else now, if it still fails to work I'll post again.
