hell yeah. that looks good.
Try making your "Painted areas" like the tan pads the single color without the Camo overlay. The Camo makes an awsome background, but should not be visable behind certain details, such as labels or other "paint"
Between now and the next polished release there should be very little new art work done. Instead the focus is on designing, testing, and fixing. the mod has always been so close to finished that its nearly criminal. I'd love to see this through to the end with a real community effort.

Whats up with the Fafnir ??? Do we have any news ? Pendaelose the code is ready ? Creator do you have a lot of work, till the release ?
The Fafnir is about done. it only lacks a couple small things. its fieldable though.

I'm looking for suggestions and help with models for GLA units and defenses.
alot of good suggestions were made a while back, but I need art and/or models to go with these. Kepp in mind, for Assault GLA everything should be geared towards a more traditional army and less salvage/scrap/stealth.
ALL GLA needs heavy defenses. Creator has made one, and I like it, but I would like to add to the list considerably... posibly going as far as every general having a completly differnet heavy defense.
I also need ideas for more Generals powers. Generals that don't get new units/buildings will prob get more powers, not just GLA, but all generals.
Also,
anyone who's up to it, I need a handful of exsisting models re-skinned for GLA. in most casses a simple color change would work, but the models need updating also to use the new skins. PM me if you want to help out.
These are for both Contra.04 and/or Remix3.

1st: “Iron Hand”
A replacement of the drones, in robot gen… I think that for the rangers, it would be better to be terminator like soldiers, or cyborgs and not drones… Pendaelose I know you like drones a lot, but I think that drones are secondary use units, so I think that for a ranger, it could be a cyborg that has a chain gun or a gun, no matter the weapon but the soldier, if you think that you cant find a model of an cyborg or a terminator, or it is hard to make one, then if somebody can reskin the ranger to make him silver with red eyes (very cool) and some black stripes etc. I think that this could be fantastic, and as for the missile trooper it may have an upgrade to enable him to fire rockets from its weapon, and have two icons on the unit the first arms him with the gun and the second pic changes his weapon to a rocket launcher ! I think this is better ! What do you guys think ???
2nd: “Consortium Commando”
A secondary hero for the stealth gen, it will act like colonel burton, but when he fires he remains stealth, he can swim, put demo charges, but with larger reloading time than of colonels, he has the same perquisites as jarmen kell has, but you have a limit of two not one ! With this the stealth gen is balanced against the others, don’t think that this is overpowered cause he will be like colonel but with limit of two, and he is an infantry, he can die with ease !!!! So it is a very good idea for him (stealth gen !)
3rd: The revivement of the nazi's idea of a super heavy tank : the panzer 1000, a tank that large that it carried a battleship turret with two cannons, also it has one smaller cannon (but very big for a normal tank !) in its front, i thought i as heavy tank for the gla, nazi never finished this idea, so gla discovered the plans for this super heavy tank and created some prototypes of it ! If no one can make the model, (it is not difficult : just take the cochroach tank rescale it so that it is as large as shaitan, and then put the turret of the battleship...) Or just rescale the cocroach and let it with the normall two cannons but larger.... I think that this is a very good idea, i think for poison, or assault gen, even demo gen !!! So gla have some equal units, to fight the other generals devastating machines !
4th: take the twin barrrelled paladin from half hour mod or someone remodel the already excisting paladin for you ! it's very good for laser gen ! Also try three barrelled !!!If the twin barreled paladin cannot be included, then a paladin butchered with two laser crusader cannons in its sides...
5th: The apache must be the tank killer, the one that kills tanks in very long distances, cause Comanche project was not to have immensive power but to be stealth ! Although the project stopped due to long price cost… So exchange the weapons of these two heli’s of robotgen
6th: “Jas 39-Grippen”
The Viators model for Laser gen the replacement of aurora ! Or for superweapon gen the replacement of f22 !!!
7th: “Eagle”
A plane hunter mech for robot gen that has rockets like the already existing avenger with one cannon which fires flak and one other small cannon which fires point defense laser (it is almost like the cyber avenger but with flak [and it’s a mech!])
8th: I think that for robot gen it fits more the mlrs not the avatacms ! For those who dont understand the difference, i mean that it fits more a multiple rocket launch system and not an army tactical attack missile launcher (ballistic missiles) !!!
9th: The losat rocket system, (reneclips, the defender model !) a tank with four missile pylons, that has mid armor but it can fire from long range, with very good damage, works like the sturm-s but with larger damage and hit points !
10th: Dont know for what gen, but i think that it fits to all, i've thought for an apc like tha land raider of the wh4k with fire ports and small turret add-ons !
11: For the assault a replaicment of the scorpion with a more newly mbt, a merkava mk2 could fit well (it is mbt of iraq and i think israel ) Cause scorpion is a little bit out from the assault gen idea !!!
12: For stealth gen a truck with a flak cannon in its top that when it deploys it has a great punch against the enemy but with low armor, it can fire both air and ground, stealth while moving but not when firing !
Those for now i will try to find more... Hope you like them !

The drones are not a good idea for infantry i think, they must be support, or secondary fast recon units, and not the primary infantry, now as the reskin of the model of ranger, i think that this should work i have seen a ranger in an other mod, that was turn to black to make him as aninja, and with red eyes as a future ninja, and the model was not remodelled, only reskined so it can be done, please try it it worths the time !!!

Pendaelose you're right for the abilities on stealth but im sure that stealth worths a secondary hero, cause he uses commando style missions with his rebels so a commando and not a sniper should fit very well...

I agree thats was just a cool idea i thought and not an idea that was as good as the others, but really cool, as for the marauder you must be preetty sure that it dont worth its money, it dies by one shot from an emperor (and the two barrels, with uranium shells) and it cannot touch even an emperor, when its supposed to be a heavy tank compared to the emperor ....

Ok i dont stay on my idea, i just want to see a heavy tank for lazer, not a superunit, but a tank with alot of armor and good firepower, so it can survive brutal battles !

Well i dont think so, cause the apache wasn't on the zero hour, and if it was then it would be the tank killer for sure, cause it has double firepower and tripple range from the commanche project, and common, the apache is yours you can do it as you wish, it is not ea's unit so re arm it !

Have you thought about an only rocket mech ? As a suppot tank ? If it can be done then it can be fantastic, as the redemeer i think that it fits more to superweapon gen...

Thanks again !!! I think that it can replace battle bus for sure, it can be a tank with fire ports simmilar to the assault troopcrawler but old fashioned, (not that old but not high tech !)

Thats right cause scorpion does not fit in the assault idea and style, What tank have you got in mind ?
As for the stealth gen i think that he must have a refresh of new units.... But as you wish ! Only new abilities wont make him considerable against to other gens....

i already have a idea how to make it from diffrent buildings (he could get the mig interceptors that you made for assault).
and he could get a troptransporter like the old one was (so that you can use the old 4 terrorists+1 tehnical tactic)

maybe. Theres nothing wrong with the ideas... the biggest problem is that I've go SOO many things to do. Right now I'm taking tasks from Creator... when .04 is done I've got alot of work to finish Remix3... I've almost got to start over on many things and its not going to be easy or fast...
