Between now and the next polished release there should be very little new art work done. Instead the focus is on designing, testing, and fixing. the mod has always been so close to finished that its nearly criminal. I'd love to see this through to the end with a real community effort.

ok. I've given tests to both the Original Remix.Big, downloaded it off of FileFront and tested that Remix.Big... none of them are giving errors. I think the problem is probobly the comression software. maybe people with different programs or versions are having troubles. I use WinRar330.

to eleminate this I'm uploading a .ZIP version (made in Winzip 8.1) to filefront.

try this one...

http://files.filefro...;/fileinfo.html
its been tested and is in ZIP format.

Both my friend and I were getting serious errors after uninstalling the Shockwave mod/installing this mod (we never got mismatch errors with Shockwave like we did with Remix), so we both reinstalled Zero Hour.

It worked fine when I reinstalled it on my computer, but he was still getting errors. I hope you guys remember to delete the Zero Hour folder in your Program Files directory after you uninstall, because that was his problem.

And with 2.75, we didn't get the mismatch errors. Well...not at first...we got it on the last couple maps we tried, but we were getting whooped by the AI anyway so it's ok. :p

By the way, is anyone else not capable of turning Anti-Aliasing all the way off? I had to use Low because it wouldn't let turn it off. It's not a big deal, because I have a 6600GT/Athlon 64 3200+, but was just wondering.

it works on every machine I've tested and also all the machines my play testers use... so I don't think its the .Big file thats bad. I think its just the way people are installing it.

I've had no mismatch errors at all in a 2 player game, but I do have them in 3+ player games. but I also had these in original ZH.

I also had a hell of a time with the Anti-Aliasing thing. I did manage to turn it off, but it took alot of playing games with the resolution and restarting the game before it saved the change.

You don't run the contra patch on Remix... its a different mod.

Its not a bug, but it is gone in Remix. Creator made the game so that level determines what units/upgrades are available at certain levels. I love contra, but I didn't love the exp system, so i made remix.

ok... try running World builder... it will give a couple small errors about sound (ignore those) what does it say about object Aslt_GLAInfantryRebelTroop?

I suspect that everyone who is crashing had another mod installed that had a unit with the same name in the code. un-installing the game doesn't delete mod files.

I know its going to crash, but it gives a specific reason for the crash.. ... That can tell why its not working on your system

when you uninstalled ZeroHour did you remember to manualy
delete the folders in both program files and mydocuments?

because I don't even have a scripts.ini... and nothing I have calls for one...
I think you installed another mod then deleted parts of it, but somehting is left behind...

Also, have you deleted any files before installing Remix?

You must put the SkirmishScripts.scb file on:

C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Command & Conquer Generals Zero Hour\Data\Scripts

The Generals file in:

C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Command & Conquer Generals Zero Hour\Data\English

And the remix finalbig file in

C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Command & Conquer Generals Zero Hour\Data

DON'T PUT THE REMIX finalBIG FILE IN:

C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Command & Conquer Generals Zero Hour

Thats why you must be having those errors! I putted it on:

C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Command & Conquer Generals Zero Hour

But when i saw in a topic to put it on data folder i putted it on there and errors didn't appeared anymore!
