Hallo. I've downloaded RotWK but every time I try to start the AutoRun.exe file it says "The file or directory is corrupted and unredable". Any suggestion? Ty

 

[EDIT]: Nevermind! I downloaded it from another link (Mirror 1 instead of Main) and it works.

Hallo. I've downloaded Edain mod 4.5 and to run it I need to have RotWK 2.01 so I use the patch switcher to downgrade. I downloaded and mounted the mini-images as instructions but it doesn't work. It always asks for the CD-ROM.

Is it possible that the problem is that the AutoRun.exe of the .mds file "is corrupted and unreadable"?

 

[EDIT] Nevermind! I figuredt it out myself (again!)

Hi,

 

I have follows the installation guide on the first page exactly for BFME 1. I have completed all steps without any issues. 

However, when I come to open the game I get the attached error message.

This happens when I try to open the game through the normal desktop shortcut, and the BFME HD short cut. 

 

I have read through some posts saying there is an unofficial launcher in the game files, however I can't find this anywhere.

 

Any help would be massively appreciated!

For information, I am using Windows 10, version 1903.

I have tried through the T3A Launcher, and hooked the other launchers, and having the same issue.

I have followed the Options.ini process and still no look.

I got a different game.dat file that was posted about a few post up and it seems I am no longer getting that errror message however... Now the launch title will come up and it will then crash without an error message. I have updated my drivers for my graphics card (NVIDIA Geoforce 1060 3Gb) and it is the only display device working. I tried downloading the HD version of the game to see if that would help and it did not. I'm running windows 10 and I have the 1.06 patch currently set as well. Any ideas???

PATCH 1.06 Error.

 

Hello, i want do install the Patch but i get an error during the download of the files. Can i download the Patch otherwise? I tried it several times.

 

I want to install the HD Mod..I choosed all options and the german files. The original game works without any problems.

you need to install patch 1.03 first then the AIO patch.

Did you fix your options file? Download the Options.ini file provided under the "Troubleshooting" section of the guide on the first post in this thread.

Hi,

I've got a problem with BFME2 Auto-defeat: You are defeated 3 minutes into the game.

And the experimental fix has crushed the game abolutely. I've reinstall this, now all other has working, only BFME 2 isn't. Are there any more solutions to fix this problem? Thank you

Hello everyone!

 

I've just downloaded BFME2, I followed all the instructions but when I click on the icon nothing happens, the game won't load at all. There is a "beep" sound and that's all. ( By they way BFME1 works fine)

 

Here are the solutions I've already tried, but unfortunately they didn't work for me:

 

-I've used the BFME Startup Fixer

 

-I've used the Options.ini file

 

-I've used the game.dat file

 

-I've updated my Nvidia driver

 

-I've tried running the game as administrator

 

-While browsing previous posts about this issue, I've found 

PiercedByMany's solution, but it didn't work for me.

 

(I'm using Windows 10/x64 on PC)

 

If you have any solutions, then please help me out

Hi, I know this is an old topic but I am hoping you can help me....I want to use GameRanger to play BFME/BFME2/ROTWK online, I followed all of these instructions to install and patch all of the games...however GameRanger can't start the game for some reason...I tried everything and I don't know what the problem is

P.S. I know GameRanger is running properly because all of the other games I play on GameRanger work flawlessly, I only have this problem with BFME/BFME2/ROTWK....please help it's really annoying

The cd key generator is not working for me. It instantly crashes as soon as i open it. Help is greatly appreciated. I am running Windows 10 currently.
