even though i already said this in the proposed changelog, but the mod refuses to load skirmish or campaign after the update. Does anyone have this problem also?

this happens to me too, yesterday I was playing 3.3.1 just fine because I had the client already working and just patched it right up. now everytime I start a game (even if I am not connected to CnCnet) it happens on campaign launching too

guys, i seem to have a problem, whenever i try to play skirmish with bots, this pops up, i got no antivirus blocking and i ran it as administrator http://imgur.com/bPBMGdv

Vexonite, you clearly are missing RA2/YR files in the Mental Omega directory according to that folder picture.

 

Nablis123, try restarting your PC and tell me if it helped. Chau, you too.

Just info, I believe you need to re set up the compatibility settings if you were using them before to get the game to work

PS: fixed it!!! I did compatibility trouble shooter on the mental omega client, not sure what it did, but it worked! :p

Hi guys, i just wanna bring up my problem and hopefully someone can help me.

 

So i have a working MO 3.3 and when i patch it to 3.3.1 (via client or manual) the problem start to begin; after patching i run the MO client and it gets stuck at the DTA Client is not responding (forever). the MO client, gamemd and syringe are all ran as admin and and is set in compatibility mode for windows xp service pack 3 and i have a windows 7 if that helps. before patching to 3.3.1 everything runs fine from single players missions to skirmishes, as for online never tried it coz i don't go online with MO. I hope someone can help me thanks alot.

i have the same problem
I am playing 3.3 on my windows 7 laptop and now the update won't run it is stuck on the client menu forever

I couldn't play the single player missions though
only all the different modes in skirmish

It does update but when I reopen the client it just stops working

no error message
and I must run the task manager to close it

it doesn't run after the update

Send us your client.log file from /Client, one created after an attempt to run the client.

So,I've been trying again with the 3.3.1 update... Still can't play skirmish of any time,BUT I can play the campaigns without any problem.

 

3.3.0 was working just fine without ANY problem at all. Why can't I do a skirmish in 3.3.1? T-T

Try launching by using clientxna.exe in /Resources subfolder and tell me what happens.

I cannot add a screen shot as I use my mobile phone

but I get an error message that says

could not load file or assembly 'Microsoft.Xna.Framework.Game, version=4.0.0.0,
culture = neutral, PublicKeyToken=842cf8be1de50553' or one of its dependencies.
the system cannot find the file specified

I tried too and it's the same as before:

 

"Yuri's Revenge has encountered a fatal error. Would you like to make a report?". All of this behind a black screen,of course. It tells me top drop the syringe and debug files to the developers,so here it is.

 

And no,the ""Found Yuri's Revenge 1.001 (modified)" thing is not the problem. I tried the game again with version 3.3.0,and it works just fine. It gives me the same message in the syringe file,but I can do matches without any problem.

Hello everyone! 

Me and my friend want to play together, but unfortunatelly, he has this problem when trying to launch the client.

The game without mod runs perfectly, he is using MacBook Pro and tries to run this game on a VirtualBox, virtual machine with Win7 64-bit.

He has DirectX 11 installed, we tried some things, but nothing seems to work.

Any ideas what can be wrong and how to repair it?

Hey all.

I recently installed RA2 and YR from the Origin bundle, and I loaded Mental Omega onto the install directory as well. I followed all instructions and as soon as it finished installing I started up the game. Since someone mentioned that Win 10 does not support fullscreen for RA2 or YR, I enabled Borderless Windowed mode. Unfortunately, this error appears as soon as I try to launch a skirmish mission.

Fullscreen does work but results in the game being unplayable due to the black screen bug.

 

Any suggestions?

Lower your resolution. What res were you trying it on?
