I mean, you could keep the details of the briefing but lets us move around and build stuff while it's scrolling in the top left.

 

Maybe have the Tech Sat be assigned to the player right away? For convenience? 

Hhhmmm, could be. But for playing this map multiple times, I'm pretty sure a well detailed readme file can do it. Plus, the amount of triggers I put it sometimes cause the game to load too long, and that's one of the reason why I didn't add more triggers for briefings (since I just ignored the challenge and dummy units). For a test map, I think it would be nice if the game loads faster. 

I wouldn't do that, because there might times where a certain player might test stuff within a shroud then capture it later.  

 

 It's not like my life depends on any of this, so yes, and thanks for doing it.

Thank you. though it still needs improvements.

 

So far, with what I did.. I ended up just updating the version where everything is buildable. Cause updating 2 maps at the same time is hard and requires too much work.

Currently playing the new map posted. One suggestion I would give is have a ramp down to the water (If only so we can show off the Lasher and Mastermind from the Purgatory Challenge)

 

Haven't encountered any issues so far with the Allies, gonna try Soviets now.

Currently playing the new map posted. One suggestion I would give is have a ramp down to the water (If only so we can show off the Lasher and Mastermind from the Purgatory Challenge)

Also, this is so odd... The game currently crashes on me everytime I play but it works fine for you (and the others, I assume.) I'll check this first.


FAST EDIT:Found it, the game removes its own compatibility settings by itself and needs to be set again and reboot my lappy.. Should report it sooner or later

Right, gone through Soviets, Epsilon and Foehn. Only thing I noticed was that Alize still has a build limit on her despite Fin being buildable as many times as you want.

I've been testing stuff now and I think I reached the limit of taskforces and teamtypes, which means... I can no longer add improve AI Scripts.. (the game crashes if I did)

1. 3.3.2 Space Commando's Dybuuk Interceptors do nothing against the painted target and just fly around in circles.

 

2. The Allied faction gets a whole map reveal even though the other factions don't:

As for 1) I think you can set which aircraft the airstrike will use with these keys for the unit that calls them, space commando in this case:

 

AirstrikeTeamType=
EliteAirstrikeTeamType=
 
You could make a new aircraft that uses the Dybbuk Interceptor's model but have a different weapon, then make the Space Commando's airstrike use it.

Of course, wouldn't mind, but I need a specify list of what you want to be buildable, if it's cool. Also, the prerequisites for the walls would be just any form of Conyards if it's fine.

If I were you I'd make the plane use the Dybbuk Toxin Bomber's model, but drop bombs that explode like Bloaticks to be good against buildings. Yes, it will involve making a new weapon from scrach.

 

BTW I think the art for 3.0 stolen tech infantry is still in the game files, just not the code. Just sayin'...

I'll use the original models as used in the previous versions, so people can see how they look like back then. 

I wouldn't mind testing that....

 

Yeah, but most of them are already gone like:

- Voltmortar

- Reaper

- Old Supressor Model

- Hoplite

- Cryo Commando

 

What are present are:

- Chrono Ivan

- Chrono Adept (IIRC, will check)

 

I checked these back in 3.3.3, should check this in 3.3.4 now,,

Just two things:

The Allies have a Terror Drone called Drone Prototype. Said drone is not immune to parasite warheads as the normal Terror Drone is. 

There's also a Gharial that has the voice of the Catastrophe Tank. Strangely enough, I did not find its reference in the .map file. What is that? Where is it from?

Just two things:

1) Overlooked - should be fixed in the next release

2) It's a dummy unit that uses the Gharial's model when it's above water. It's basically in the game's code. In the older version of my Zoo map, I fixed them by correcting stats and voices of all dummy units, but currently, I removed it since the map's goal was to test stuff as they are in the game. (Although, I'm still oddified of what I've done with some stuff, like EMP.Threshold to all jumpjets....)

 Thanks! But no need. The only unit that has a model/art is the Chrono Ivan, and the others don't have their arts anymore in the game.

Oddly, there names are still in the game. (not sure about the voices)
