That mission should have atleast told about the trails on the ground. It shouldn't show every dependable structure immediatly but the trails should be more than enough. Many people had trouble understanding the dybukk hives on their first try due to the cryptic way to destroy them. Speaking of insomnia, does anyone else notice the random non epsilon dragonfly buzzing around the edges of the map? What's the deal with that, is Yunru spying on the engine's progress?

Who else would have access to that Dragonfly? It's gotta be Yunru for sure, already knowing that the Allies are probably going to get their butts kicked eventually. How long till the Allies find out about the Chinese tech genius spying on them? Eh, I think we'll either find out in Weathershins or another mission. We shall see soon.

Hint for Innosia Radar Sprite and Mind Reader Location

West's nest - near by only one radar spire.
Middle's nest - near radar spire and mind reader, actually there are more but your allies will destroy most of them.

These two can easily destroy on second event time freeze, send any Thor, Rocketeer, Norio, Chrono Legieonaire, Tanya/Seal with Stallion or even Paradox Engine to destroy them before freeze time running out, this make you can more chance to focus on defend.

South's nest - this is the main one there are two nest here need destroy all radar spire and mind reader to disable both of them.

- 2 Mind readers and 1 Radar Spire - These are near the nest and psychic dominator, you may never miss these.
- East 1 Mind reader and 2 Radar Spires - follow concrete part, mind reader is near cloning vats facility, Radar spire are E and SE of Mind Reader.
- West 2 Radar Spires - follow concrete part, one is in dark purple base on the west and another one on the north of dark purple base, don't follow concrete part on SW that is way to Aerodomes and it don't do anything with hive

http://niceme.me/

FPS is hard locked at a certain speed (which is 30-ish iirc) because otherwise things in individual missions desync, or so I've heard. This would be the reason there's no speed slider by default in the campaign even for vanilla Yuri's Revenge.

Game speed 5 equals to 62.5 fps. I guess that's what you need (provided your PC is not antique enough to fail to reach this frame rate).

If needed, edit in spawn.ini

[Settings]
GameSpeed=1

 then do the injection again.

In-game speed vs real life speed?

In vanilla YR it's hard-coded to speed 4 = 31.25 fps. In MO it's speed 5 by default IIRC

I already know that Dragonfly doing recon is basically from Yunru's. It was even proven from the end briefing from Tainted Empire.

The data acquired from Epsilon's comm network confirms the worst. Yuri has accelerated his operation due to continuous attacks from the reorganized Allied forces in the Southern Hemisphere.

I have been thinking on some things. I find it amusing that in fact Yuri SAVED Soviets twice despite already being their enemy. The first time he did that by making PF and China fight, otherwise they would have started an another combined full-scale invasion with an unpredictable outcome. The second time was by capturing Moscow and forcing Paradox to launch prematurely. If he hadn't done that, Paradox would have just chronoshifted itself into Moscow and allies would have captured Moscow and after that there would be a huge chaos since Europeans and American rebels would ignite rebellions on conquered territories while the Soviet leadership is in disarray.

Speaking of Paradox, if Yuri did capture London, shouldn't he be able to capture some SteinTech laboratories and/or scientists? This way he can easily reverse-engineer some chrono/prism technology for himself. There may be even data about Paradox stored in there.

Considering that the briefing often talks about the "London survivors", possible that the entire city population is on the Paradox Engine.

Well, the allies probably took most of their tech data when time freeze in Godsend, and only a group of survivors were left to hold the Epsilon forces (as brief in Bottleneck), so I'm pretty Yuri would only find the same data he always found...

Besides, if were talking about reverse-engineering with Yuri, he could have done that multiple times with his Psychic Beacon that mind-controlled several Allied Outposts/bases. (maybe)

Guys how did you win the Purgatory challenge ? I just played it yesterday and the way i won it was very bizzare and cheesy,

I played it as Hailhead with another Hailhead AI, without superweapons

I did it this way

1) Based crawl inside the middle Epsilon base and dismantled it with neutralizers

2) Constructed a barracks inside the middle base

3) Endless swarm of clairvoiants raided the base

4) Spawned few huntresses, duplicants and Shadrays to remove all potential threats

5) Captured the base (To get Shadow ring for M.A.D tanks), Yuri himself dropped in the base twice within some time frame. Captured a refinery before he got dissolved by nanites (Huntresses were still present) and eight neutralizers melting him across the base.

6) Made m.a.d tank at my main base, stop its production at 98%, make MCV, load it up to naval transport, spin it up and i send it to Epsilons base and i shadow ringed it.

7) Deployed MCV inside enemy base, made factory inside their base, release the m.a.d tank inside enemy base

8) Eliminated entire base with single use of this unit

9) Made few queatzals and basilisks and Libra to mop up the surviving docks, Epsilon base surrendered

10) Shadow ringed m.a.d tank who happily entered Epsilons base and destroyed everything except shipyards and barracks

11) I released Resephs and Libra and her clones to mop up the surviving structures.

After that farce of odd tactics i said myself

"Common, there has to be a way to win this the fair way"

But the relentless assaults of interceptors (Who were my source of funds, Shrike nests and processors caused the interceptors to worth 300 a pop so in the end i had 114 000 dosh in reserves, thx Yuri i guess) made any assault very hard.

The really strong mind control pulse made any extended operations of siege party a hazard, the statues make any fast advance impossible, air units are useless due to the nests of interceptors. The terrain is cleverly made to drag the advance, pulses are spaced out so you have about 6 to 7 minutes between each other.

Wish the pulse atleast didnt affected robotic units and non humanoids, seeing Megalodons and Clairvoiants turning against its creators is very odd and it just adds fake difficulty and over reliance on Epic units like Centurion or m.a.d tank.

Pulse won't be fired upon submerged units. Russian Akula and Epsilon Resheph can do the job with immunity (with proper anti-ship escorts of course).

Centurion.

The mind waves in purgatory can also be tricked, they go after the largest mass of susceptible units you have. So if you make a crowd of 20 conscripts every time (only 1000$) you can circumvent it. Other then that naval siege with akula's (and mass wolfhound for defence) is the best option. It's how i managed to beat this solo with the mental boost on. The pulse will absolutely be fired on submerged units if even 1 of them becomes vulnerable by getting hit by a squid or something. This is devestating since an entire swarm of typhoons can be easily lost this way hence why sacrificial conscripts are necesary. The mindwaves have been changed in 3.3.3, they WILL work on submerged units.

I've done it on hard once in 3.3.3. They will not target submerged units unless said units have already been forced to surface

That brings up an interesting question, is there any logic on how the mind control pulse can affect robotic units when they didn't have a mind to begin with? The same goes to the Physic Dominator.

I think it's a just a gameplay thing.

I'm pretty sure in-universe, robots are immune to mind-control, but in-game, features or weird game interactions would cause behaviour that doesn't make sense with the lore.

May be psychic blast is strong enough to re program them.

This game is Sci-fi base game something may happen.

Also, we didn't know how chronosphere and iron curtain actually work.
