I was thinking that could you please change some of the micromanagement missions to base building alot more people hate micromanagement missions to base building missions and i hate micromanagement missions aswell they arent fun also with no saving feature it makes it completly unfair with the difficulty of the mod on its own i ahve only been able to beat the first soviet mission and thst took me like 4 hours i felt like sleeping after doing it please change this if you can.

On Easy difficulty, most of the missions shouldn't take that long and they can be easy, especially after the first half.

It took me 2 hours maximum to beat each missions, unless you haven't understand which units do which (no you don't use GI to destroy tanks and buildings anymore) or you're a complete newbie even for RA2 standard, as MO is designed to be harder and more challenging than the original (up to 4 times, maybe even more), it shouldn't have taken you that long.

Wouldn't mind some more nerf on Epsilon Act 1 commando missions on easy though

1st Soviet mission, Bleed Red you meant?

There is no micro shit in that one, you have a big army, get them to the base take control of it and start to spam till the end. Why did it take 4 hours?

From all the Soviet missions I can only call Peace Threaty (bullshit Siege Cadre paradrops chewing my base and I can't even rebuild it, then the same happens to Beacon) and Road To Nowhere (because when shit is coming from all directions to kill your VIP it isn't really funny) hard on Easy. The rest can be completed easily from the first try or two, unless you don't pay attention to your VIP units or carelessly charge into Snipers and SEALs with your Volkov/Boris/Morales.

Some Allied missions are pretty hard too. And the entire Epsilon campaign is just a plague with maps either being bugged or no change at all. I'm currently avoiding it.

Soviet missions seems easy enough. Even Unshakable is now easy enough. Back in 3.0 even on easy it was impossible for me to get to the base before the explosion without recklessly rushing my army.

Unfortunately this is the problem. As I've said, the mod is designed to be much much harder than the original (even Easy on Skirmish is equivalent to Brutal in the original).

In first part of Bleed Red, the only thing you need to know is what counters what. Machine guns counters infantry but cannot shoot through walls, explosives like flak and tank shells counter armor and somewhat damage buildings and can break walls. Defense turrets in general is bad at building. Tesla shocks wrecks everything equally and ignores walls. Flame festroys infantry and to bigger extent buildings but can't fire behind walls. IFV rocket is effective on infantry and tanks too. Make use of this knowledge and you can beat most micro heavy missions easily.

(Yes, walls are big deal in these missions too)

I'll suggest trying to practice on Skirmish with at least normal AI in MO.

Also, unlike the original games, infantry is a lot more useful than tanks. Almost too useful.

Martinoz's post is really blunt and crude, but it's accurate. MO expects you to at least grasp a good enough gaming knowledge of RA2 and YR and eventually force you to take it up to eleven. If you can't even beat YR on easiest mode, then it's next to impossible to beat MO

Try playing some skirmish matches before you go head on through the entire campaign, know what each unit does, and how it changed then start playing the campaign.

(If you're going to play the soviet campaign just practice on Russia and the Latin confederation, china doesn't play much of a role)

Actually, pay China too, because you can learn what units are destroying your army and you can use that knowledge too.

Considering what this person is saying, he will not reach unshakable any time soon.

Unshakeable in 3.3 is a breeze now though.

Try Singularity, NOW that's a nightmare
