Map list re-updated.
All maps added. Only 7 more maps need testing, all other have been tested.

No issues with Siash's Demise.
Reinforcements arrived properly with both Critical Points captured.

Ah, by the way, if you see any map inconsistency (missing textures, pink models etc), just say so.
I have not noticed anything so far, and the Logs are clear, but you never know.

OK, so I saw brother Dark40k's Assault map, that brother Fuggles uploaded.
And I LIKE IT!
Pros: Code is neat, no issues, supports ALL races (AI defenders will always be IG). Importing, is TOO easy for me. We will only have to rename the Maps and add UCS lines for description, like in Survival maps. So NP, again.
Cons: None. My only concern is that players are attackers, and their resources are ample, given time. And time is not a problem, so eventually you WILL win. So.. you cannot lose! So I am thinking that we should either:
- incorporate the (new) degrading resources win condition, or
- use a modified Blood for the Blood God condition, where the player will have a limit on how many infantry/vehicles he will be able to use to achieve victory, or
- make time and resources an issue, somehow.
Otherwise, the player(s) will ALWAYS win eventually, as I said.
Ah, and I didn't check:
- If the Save feature is working.
- The behaviour of an ALLY AI attacker...
Guys, try this map brother Fuggles uploaded in Unification, and tell me what you think.
Brother Fuggles, any other maps like this???

I found some more myself, so I will see each one of them.
I believe they are 3 or 4 in total (compared to the 27 we have in Survival) but this is OK
Even 4 assault maps will be a good addition.

Working on fixing those Survival maps now. Do we have a UCS range I can use for the map names and descriptions?
EDIT: Also, exactly which maps need the extra markers? There's 27 survival maps in total and I'd rather not have to search through them all to find out which ones need them.

OK, so I ... PLAYED one of those Assault maps (in Unification of course), with my brother and a friend in a LAN MP game. 3p, vs 3 AI (one was chaos by default, and we set one Chaos Daemons and one Ork to assist them)
FLAWLESS, and it was an excellent experience!
So, I WILL add those 4 Assault maps as well
Tested them all, and with some slight changes (there were some issues, for example the Tyranids global builder was giving a SCaR error because the Assault mission were destroying the builder initially - but I can fix all of those issues, of course )
So yeah, why not.
4 more Assault maps on the way!!!
Both brothers Dark40k and Argonaut (Assault/Survival) are OK guys and friends of mine, so we will have no issues with permissions.

Brother K you can use the 5801000 + range!
It is within the WinConditions.ucs of Unification, at the (far) end of the file.
By the way, will you help with the UCS and naming of the 4 Assault maps??? I think 4 more maps in NP for you.
In one map, I think we need some modification... The players are on a small island, so can we "widen it up" a bit? There is no room for more buildings, and races like Steel Legion won't be able to build their large buildings at all!

Actually, looking at the UCS files wouldn't it be better to put them in SurvivalMaps.ucs instead?

Obviously, a FAR better choice. I was to hasty too choose.
Please, start after 17471025, I would say 17471100, so that we have some more entries in case we need to add some more of the previous stuff...
By the way, if you could update that Assault map I mentioned above as well (I will upload it soon, with all the details) that would be excellent. Brother Kekoulis was correct to note that the Space Marines buildings are unnecessary, so they better be removed...
So we need 1] to widen the player area and 2] to remove the buildings...

Survival map renaming is done. All the (1p vs AI) maps are now at the very top of the list, while all the (2p vs AI) maps are just between the regular 2 and 3 player maps. I'll start on the markers later today. I might also redo the minimaps and icons as well.

And I will finish re-coding and importing the 4 Assault maps.
It needs more work that I thought, but oh boy was it an excellent experience!
Brother K, along with the new Strongholds, I think Unification and Race mods is an Upgrade Pack for SS that make the game worth buying EVEN NOW!
Add UA to this, and we have a must-have game.
UA could have less bugs though..
At least we are trying to be "bug-less"
P.S.: About the missing building Markers, please make a neat and sneaky selection on the maps! They can be either close to one another, or even too far apart!
Just select "clean" spots if possible, so that to be able to "hold" even bigger buildings...
