We have a contest for you today. TFH is stuck.. well Mongoose is the one who is stuck. He needs concept art for the German Tech Center. What he needs is for it to be clear and clean, not too much of a mess, with a fence and a medium sized land area. Would be a plus if you can include a V2 Rocket Pad. Feel free to submit any pieces of concept art without worrying too much about quality - MS Paint or similar programs are sufficient for this purpose. The most useful drawing will win a beta testing slot. The team will judge the drawings.

The contest will end on 1st September.

You can send your concept art to webmaster@the-finest-hour.net, or you can attach it in this topic.

What kind of a feel do you want for the building? What goes on in there? Diabolical, evil research (ie. chemical weapons), or regular research (ie. allied tech center in RA)? Is it a well-established structure, or just put up quickly? A little more info would be helpful :p

It's can be any thing from well-established structure, or just put up quickly but i would say well-established one would be the best thing to do for it. now what it is used for is that evil german stuff like jets ,v2 rockets and so on.

as for the feel of things the germans in TFH have a cerment theam as well as a filed tent sort thing, it's hard to say.

Hmmm...forgive me Mongoose but the infantrymen's stance looks kinda awkward. :ninja:

Maybe for the riflemen, the Chinese Conscript's animations would fit, the Submachine gunner's animations would fit with the GLA Rebel, and the Bar gunner's animations would fit with the U.S. Ranger...but these options would fit only as of now till you guys pollish it a bit. Just a friendly advice. :)

do you really need a contest for this?

it's not like they hired world class architects during WWII to design and build structures?

just make some bunker and stick a V2 site next to it, most industrial buildings built during that period looked pretty similar, blocky, concrete or brick, warehouse like, depending on the purpose

well not really, it would look much better with we had it all nice and planed. plus having a block isnt that good looking. the fact that i couldn't think of anything made it a really good time for the public to get invloed in making this mod, so thats what we did. :ninja:
