Energy Mod v5.0 Finally Released!

Thats right as of this moment Energy Mod v5.0 is ready to download! Just click HERE and go download the mod now!

The mod is in several forms, there is the basic version for those that do not use mod swapper and then the intro for that version you dont need the intro but it is really cool so if you got a good net connection I suggest you get it :grin:. The others are for those that wish to use Mod Swapper with Energy Mod, there is a full version with intro and a light without it and then the intro seperate just incase you got the light version and still want the intro :huh:.

If you want any info on the mod just check out the screenshots section! And last thing if anyone has ANY problems installing the mod or has any concerns with the mod (errors, balance issues, anything) just head over to our forums and let us know :laugh:.

one problem, i D/Led the video, and when i went to install it came up with a message saying:

"This Patch Could Not Be Opened. Contact The Application Vender To Verify That This Is A Vaild Windows Installer Patch Package"

other wise could mod, some bugs here and there, and some things to fix. one is to make it when you move a ship it is eaiser to move cause when you click on a place to move the ship it moves a bit farther then where you clicked.

Also like the new SW's

I noticed that intro thing too, Tank Master will have to look into that......

the thing with the ships is because when you click a area you are not moving to the place above the water you are moving to the place below the water, al generals engine things....just get used to clicking to move where the ground under the water is not the water surface..

yea and with anything we will do a v5.1 with all the buges we messed fixed

also i was just wondering, with the china black hole sw, when i fire it on a actual unit or building it hits and does the white thing around the area, but when i have it attack ground all it shows is a black orb on the ground, but it does damage, is that how it is supposed to work?

also the china fire tornado, it slows down my comp alot when it hits, even with my radeon 9600xt it still slows down, and chance of reducing the particles a little so reduce the lag from it. after the thign is done attacking the game does go back to normal speed.

keep up the good work, and hope you fix the video thing soon.

ok there is a stupid engine prolem with the gravity cannon if you fire it into a shrouded area you will not get the white vortex....:(

the napalm tornado does slow things down a bit but thats to be expected as alot of the weapons in the mod are very intense :grin:

found another bug (i guess i am the bug reporter :grin: )

the main ship for china only one turrent turns not both and only one fires not both.

ranger can walk under water; camera angle thing is mess up, on one map you can zoom in and actually watch a boat from under it go by;umm; hovercraft can not be destroyed with people in it. lots more but can't type all of them and i dont want to take all hte fun from others.

Is it just me or is this mod extremly laggy? I have played several types of the one player missions and they lag like hell! Maybe a quikfix in a patch? Good mod though, just wish more peeps online had it.

when you actualy target a unit or building instead of force fire the water dragon will fire both turrets

I know about that below the boat thing, kinda cool huh :grin:

laggy, I know I should have a message saying that this mod has higher requirements than the normal game, as we do use higher poly models (the new infantry are a good example) and the particle systems are quite spectcular :laugh: (also those defensive missions do lagg a lot due to the mass of units that attack you hehe

kongming talk to some of the players in here, maybe organize a game or two online :huh:

one last thing, please keep al bugs and problems you have comming as there will be a v5.1 that will address everything

do i have to list all of the bugs i know, becasue it would take up atleast half a page or more. and i dont want to take the fun from someone else who is looking for bugs


about the lag thing, you might want to fix the shell map, makes start up slower, have less units attacking each other should make it go faster.

Im glad to see that all are liking the mod ... we know that some bugs could be found the main ones are gone and of course we will release a V5.1 to fix them. And adding some more surprises to :)

Just remember that if you report a bug you have to tell WHAT VERSION you are using.

just in case you might not know. All version HAVE skirmish maps so dosent matter what version you play you should see our maps for example Arabian nights.

If you dont see them please tell wich version you use and we will see a solution.

the mod wont work for me i installed it to default and no shellmap but all i get is an error

you get a internal error....yes I have gotten that once...I dont know why it happend and am taking measures to find out..so I dont know what causes that..

First of all, very, very fun mod. (vers. 5.0)

Some bugs I have found include:

for the Napalm general (not sure about the other China generals) the power plants can be overcharged without doing any damage to them. I'm not sure if this is a bug, but the Fantag airplanes harm each other when upgraded with the EMP strike, mostly when their shots would hit a building or mountain.

for the USA generals some of the special troops like the Designator and Delta Marines can't be clicked; in order to select them one has to drag a box around them.

I can't seem to get the GLA special to work (the one that says "Pray to Allah"). It just states that the structure has already been built.

alright, hmm didnt know the fantans could hurt eachother lol

I know some of those infantry are without picboxes, trex or coolfile will have to fix that

umm you may want to check if limit superweapons was on, and you can ONLY build that super once no matter the settings

Just thought I'd add a few more bugs I have found.

For the Black Market General:

The reinforcement pad does not work when captured. The timer works but no plane shows up to drop any reinforcement.

Also, I still cannot get the GLA Special to work. I click on the icon to build it and nothing happens. I think I built the Scud Storm and then when I went to build the GLA Special the description said it had already been built, when in fact I had not built any extra building.
