I was just poking around today and decided i would try to make a Fellbeast on foot.

I need to fix the binding on the fellbeast and some texture stuff before i try it ingame. It looks pretty good with the balrog animations but i need to tinker with the model a bit more.

However the witchking does not move so i will have to figure out how to edit in some animations for him. I might just import him as a seperate model that coordinates with the balrog model as well.. If you are willing to help please contact me.

Thats a very good idea, fellbeast on foot. You prob wont have time but I would love to see anims of the witchking hopping down off the fellbeast and then they fight separately, but he could get on it and the fellbeast would have biting and walking anims....that would be awesome. :p Great work.

Hmm that would be fairly possible if i add a passengerbone and define passenger animations for the witchking... i might try that...

or maybe you only move the legs arms... into the right place, and then it looks like hes sitting there, but he doesn't move than, I' ve done that by gandalf on gwaihir, and it looks good.

i did that with a (prehistoric) gimli and legolas model... i didnt think of passenger bones then :p

i did model it as you can see from the picture so it appears as if hes in a riding position, however when the fellbest bends down so does the witckings body. And if i remeber correctly from the movie the witchking was not stareing of to the right on the ground while attacking theoden. i think i am going to try this passenger bone thing.
