this would mean a laser based moab
a bomber swooping over and delivering a quick pulsar of laser energy to devestate the target area with hyper charged ions like the gdi ion cannon but it's just the fact that their ion cannon is a satellite and the moab isn't dropped by a satellite

well before pr all the laser gen had that was related to lasers was a laser turret, col burton i think and a laser tank
no he didn't have the laser burton, just the turret, the tank, and a cheaper avenger.
laser bomb? huh? sounds weird!
btw VG the laser pathfinder still has the sound of a rifle shot but it fires laser.

yea lighting based weapons would be good
(although this idea was discarded)
lightining cannons/guns etc remind me of my idea for sonic energy rifles for super weapon gen

but i would make it innacurate, like if you aim at one tank it might hit a different tank, unless there is only one tank, also an anti conductive armor would be usefull so they cant hurt themselves

the lightning tank attacks the farmer in the field all to no avail since his mud crusted wellies for once actually saved his life whereas the poor cattle didn't stop and think about putting on their wellies and fried
*mr farmer goes tribal with a pitch fork at the tank*

You'll be happy to know, I'm definitely not serious about that one.please tell me your not serous kmon some ideas suggestions or something...lightning is cool...or has the human race lost all sense of "cool"....... some marbles rollin on the floor maybe?
IF a lightning tank were put into the game, I could see it doing well against infantry. Killing them instantly.
Against tanks or other vehicles, however, the worst that would happen would be some fried computer controlled curcits, and a very fried paint job. Lightning that hits a vehicle traveling down the road, will experience a skin effect. That is, the lightning will travel along the outside portions of a vehicle, through to the bottom of the vehicle arching to the ground. And/or the steel belted tires (or tank tracks) to the ground.
With that in mind, I could see a suggestion of some sort of EMP effect to simulate the effects of fried curcits, temporarily immobilizing the vehicles in the game. But, I can't see any major amounts of damage being applied against the hit points of (the health of) the tank or vehicle.

well some tanks are made of ultra hard substances like ceremic mixed in with the tank design making them almost impentrable Vs armour piercers and the like
if anything an electric tank would do damage similar to anthrax to balance it out but then again the usa microwave tank is anti infantry...
