did you think about a flying gandalf??
you are also working in the RAmod-Team aren't you Celeglin?
so in the trailer there, in the last sequence you can see gandalf flying on an eagle.
Will the RA have a flying gandalf?
Are you able to create a toggle between gandalf on foot and gandalf flying instead of gandalf mounting shadowfax?
Did you already think about that?

As far as I know, this has all been done for RA (don't quote me on that). I have no desire to do it for TEA.so in the trailer there, in the last sequence you can see gandalf flying on an eagle.

Well, it would make way more sense if a) he only used the eagle for travel, and b) if it wasn't a toggle but a formation thing (just like you add swordsman with archers). If the eagle died, then so would he. But this would lead to making an eagle hero for one of the factions, and I don't think Celeglin would want to do that.

celeglin can you tell the modders from RA to do it like Olorin says?

No, because Gandalf and his Eagle mount is already done. The way we have it working now is actually quite nice and will certainly be good enough.celeglin can you tell the modders from RA to do it like Olorin says?
Actually, the only coding I'll be doing for RA is number balancing (messing around with armour, weapon, health, costs, etc. with the Team Leaders) near the end of production. I'm mainly on the team as a modeler/skinner.(I know, that this is not about the TEA but i thought that it would be no problem because Cel is also coding in there)

IF RA ever does come out, I doubt I'll play it. Not because I don't like it, but because it'll probably put a HUGE strain on my comp.

The hero I'd most like to see is Ecthelion because he was a legendary killing machine without parallel. The problem is he wouldn't fit into the game at all.
The additional heroes that would be most appropriate, in my opinion, are Elladan and Elrohir. In fact I would have them in ahead of Arwen as they were extremely active in fighting the Orcs, rather good at it too, and were present and a number of the battles in LoTR. I'd love to see them fighting at Minas Tirith with jewelled stars bound to their foreheads putting orcs down by the score.
