I am also quite interested on the ingame look, as well as to see some new particle effects :p

Good work :p

Sort of update. Nothing crucially new, but still.

By the way, about seeing them on battlefield. Recently i had a chance to get my hands on our latest build - in action they look much better. Even, i would say, close to awesome. Our demo release is on hold for a reason - if we will succeed in creating maps/missions of worthy quality within this month, you will see action with effects and level of realism you've never seen before. I mean it.

Well you guys have been beat by the Restore Justice mod, another total realism, however, it is not complete, only at another beta release.

And I can't say I like the "mesh" around the vehicle. It looks really... bad, be it real or not.

I think the first thing they need is permission from CtA and AAOW. ;)

And pray tell, how can you say that O:RJ has 'beaten' Real War whereas you haven't tried it yet? Because of an earlier release? Is that how a mod can beat another mod, being released earlier? Unless your a beta tester of the mod and have seen far enough to judge them being beaten...

...now, feel free to correct me.

This is called a anticumulative shield. It prevents the vehicle from being hit by a cumulative round.

What permission are ya talking about? Btw we see Cold War Crisis as our primary competitor

Indeed. I would put it just in this way: We were not beaten by restore justice. Probably i am wrong to judge them by their 1.5 version, but it stands nowhere near what we are going to comply. On the other side - nobody (except us) have seen our work, so don't be quick to make assumptions :p
Well, if you mean release date - i admit, indeed we are sort of slow on progress, but remember - we have started working just 6-7 months ago.

And I can't say I like the "mesh" around the vehicle. It looks really... bad, be it real or not.

Tell us what exactly you dislike, and we'll try to fix it. This is basically for what we post it :).

By the way, cumulative is a HEAT round in russian military terminology.

I said beaten as in beaten to a (all be it a beta) release.

I do not like the mesh around the vehicle because well... it just flat out doesn't look "cool" like the rest of the vehicle does. I'll be happy as long as its an upgrade, I just don't want all my LAVs lookin like that ya know? ;) Good work nevertheless.

On a side note, Restore Justice did get permission from Medicdude at CtA and from what I can tell they cut out all the AAOW stuff which was used as placeholders.

Notice the rollers on M2. Now we make treads and rollers separately from each other.
