well, it was to wierd to mention, cause I had the shellmap in my BFME folder.... don't know how the hell it "ran away"....

and atm, I'm nazi :p *playing HoI2*

I had a gamedat error yesterday when putting an fxlist-object inside fxparticlesystem.ini and the referenced fxparticlesystems inside the fxlist.ini.

What was the detailed cause i don't know. I was so happy to have found this mistake and unmake it that i really didn't bother with the exact reasons for the unmarked crash, except for the obvious thing! :)


Edit: After some thinking i believe i've got it. The content of the inis is probably not important, as it is possible to put all the stuff from different ini files inside just a few. So it must be the order in which the files are read. The particles must be defined before used in the fxlist, i guess. So, to summarize, the error appears, when an fxlist contains undefined particles.
