It is ICV stand for infantry carrier vehicle it is the redone term for the APC. It would be for america and would serve as I said as the american equivlent to the china troop crawler except exchanging armament for carring capacity. What would be better would be the ability to produce the hevaliy armed version withan only 4 man capacity or the machine gun armed one with a 8 man capicaty and a faster speed at an option.

APC sounds alot better though. I like the idea, however.

APC is Armored Personell Carrier, not Infantry Carrying Vehicle (sounds really stupid), so I say APC.

Actually there are some different names for an APC. It varies. I think he was trying to say IFV not ICV.
USA:
The M2 Infantry Fighting Vehicle [IFV] is a fully tracked, lightly armored vehicle that offers significant improvements over the M113 series of armored personnel carriers. The M2 possesses greater power, greater acceleration, and an advanced suspension for a significant increase in cross-country speed. Like the M113, the primary purpose of the M2 is to carry infantryman on the battlefield, and transport and support them with fire if necessary. The M2 Bradley carries a crew of three (Commander, Gunner & Driver) and a six-man Infantry section into combat.
The M3 Cavalry Fighting Vehicle [CFV] is exactly the same chassis as the M2 IFV with some minor internal differences. The M3 is a cavalry/scout vehicle, instead of carrying 6 dismounts in the payload compartment, the M3 carries a pair of scouts, additional radios, ammunition, and TOW and Dragon or Javelin missile rounds. In fact, the only noticeable differences between the M2 and the M3 are that the external firing ports for the squad M16s are absent on the M3.

China:
TYPE 97 INFANTRY FIGHTING VEHICLE
The PLA introduced its new-generation Type 97 (also known as ZBD97) tracked infantry fighting vehicle (IFV) in the late 1990s and the vehicle entered operational service in 2004~05. The vehicle features a BMP-3-style turret armed with a 100mm main gun and a 30mm coaxial cannon. The vehicle was designed to accompany the PLA’s new generation main battle tanks (MBT) such as Type 96 and Type 99 in the battlefield for both direct combat and troops transportation.

Russia:
The BMP-3 [BMP = Boyevaya Mashina Pyekhota - [b]Infantry Fighting Vehicle[/b]], which represents a totally different design concept from BMP-1/2, is a light tank that can hold a squad of infantry. It has a 100mm main gun that fires HE to demolish buildings, can fire long-range ATGMs through its barrel, and a 30mm autocannon and a medium machine gun as a single unit in the turret. The innovative BMP-3 armament suite has been subjected to criticism in the Russian military, which has focused on deficiencies in the barrel-fired ATGM. The performance obtained from the 500 horsepower engine powering this 18 ton of vehicle compares favorably to the American Bradley, which has an engine of similar power for a 33 ton of vehicle. The BMP-3, first seen in public during a parade in Moscow in 1990, was built by Kurganmashzavod, developer and manufacturer of the BMP-2 infantry combat vehicle. The hull of the BMP-3 resembles the BMD Airborne Infantry Fighting Vehicle, with a new turret in the center of the vehicle. The troop compartment at the rear of the hull is accessed via a pair of doors in the hull rear. The BMP-3 is fully amphibious, propelled in water by two water-jets mounted at the rear of the hull.

EDIT: A retraction here. He was talking about an ICV. My bad.
M1126 Stryker Infantry Carrier Vehicle
The ICV provides protected transport for an infantry squad and direct fire support during the dismounted assault. The ICV carries a 9-man squad and retains the capability to provide effective supporting fire to the squad while it is dismounted.
The primary design of the IAV has two variants: The Infantry Carrier Vehicle (ICV) and the Mobile Gun System (MGS). The ICV troop transport vehicle is capable of carrying 9 infantry soldiers and their equipment. It requires a crew of two; a driver and a vehicle commander. There are eight other configurations of the ICV that have combat service and combat support roles. Those configurations include a Commander's Vehicle (CV), Reconnaissance Vehicle (RV), Fire Support Vehicle (FSV), Mortar Carrier (MC), Anti-Tank Guided Missile vehicle (ATGM), Engineer Squad Vehicle (ESV), Medical Evacuation Vehicle (MEV), and Nuclear, Biological and Chemical Reconnaissance Vehicle (NBC RV).

I have one design, but I wont use it since it looks kinda like something Hunter did, although he got his design from another game, so I am going to let him use the design, and if he decieds not to use it then I will model it and release it as a public model.

how about making one look like a stryker or does that look like hunter's model? Not looking into getting caught in another intermod war so I remain silent on this case.

Well that stinks if that is the same, for once I thought I had a usable idea however how about a M-67 frag grenade upgrade or something to that effect w/ a large area of effect for either china infantry or USA infantry in the latter case it would replace the flashbang. Another thing I was thing about was a special production field for helicopters instead of at the airfield where you could build Apaches, comanchees, blackhawks and kiowa warriors plus all upgrades.
