Nintendo is going down the tubes. N64 was really their last GREAT console. GameCube has very few good games.

I agree with you there Tree, i'm one of the only four people on earth who does, but I think Nintendo will be the new middlesbrough and make the comeback of the century.

Not all the way across the board. I'm not going to waste my time arguing the Playstation's case (all I'll do is be branded a fanboy, just because I don't rate the 64 as highly as you do), but will only say that there were some utterly fantastic Playstation games.
Looking back on GoldenEye, it feels really slow and sluggish. And I've seen better graphics on the PS1 than in GoldenEye...
The controller was also a complete pig to hold and use. Sorry, but it was. At nine years old, I could hold a PS1 pad snugly, and the same is true to this very day. At nine years old, I could barely reach the trigger and the stick. Which left the D-Pad completely unusable up the left-hand side due to improper positioning. Even five years later, using the joypad made my hand muscles ache as I struggled with that grip.

I think Wii is a good name, because it will attract the market that they are aiming for, families, many of wich have never played video games before. Wii sounds exotic, and interesting, who wants a consle name PlayStation 3, or Xbox 360, they seem bland, and repetitive, where as Wii is new, and exciting. I am definatly buying this one, no matter what name it is sold under.
