I wasn't joking, but I just got yelled at by my GF for not knowing ;) So now I know he was a great jedi, and talked funny. (Correct? ;))

Just a small update: I have stopped coding CIS for now, its almost complete (except for buildings, no buildings have been done yet) and started the Republic. Beta will come very soon. ;)

I haven't talked to Windu much about the beta but I'm pretty sure it will be closed and no, we do not have beta testers yet.

i got bored and began tinkering around with model possibilities, and stumbled upon the idea of creating darth maul as a model, now i havent seen any sign that you have a model of him anf figured... why not donate? that is if you'd like, it needs to be UVWed and skinned but the model is nearly done.

And I think that Darth Maul may appear in the first update, as some of you guys said you wanted to see a Jedi or Sith of some kind....

I have a question about coding: Is it possible for a unit to use a certain animation when attacking a certain other unit? I think I might be able to find a way using the Gondor archer's code. See, they have a different weapon for close range (a different animation too) and a different weapon for attacking against buildings. This would create unique lightsaber fights.

Just for your info: The models that we are using right now for Anakin, Windu, Obi-wan, etc. are all pretty high poly (1900). They also have another downside; that they werent created to be Jedi. But now, over at Imperial Assault II, our unit modeler has created (from scratch) special models. The Anakin model looks better than the one we are using now, and has 1000 polys. So it is an all-round good thing.

Maybe it could take some tinkering about with AnimationStates but I think it must be possible. Nonetheless I think it'll look good anyway.

Check out the Balrog. He uses different animations for attacking buildings and people.

I know that you can have a different animation while attacking a building, but can you specify something like this: (where he uses a different attacking or getting hit animation vs. a specified unit? Becuase if you cant, then he would use the same animation vs a battle droid than vs a lightsaber guy.)

UseAnimation: OnlyAgainst = NONE +AnakinSkywalker +MaceWindu +Yoda etc.
