it's awesome and that texture is so detailed, though i do notice that you make long heads :)

ps. could you post a short explanation how to render units with poses/animations in 3dsmax (so not just the T-pose)? :p

I absolutely LOVE the finished product. Brilliant. One small suggestion though, I think you should make the helmet a tad shorter.

My favorite part is the vambraces, I love those.

Oh my godness, shoot me, somebody!

That is, in fact, better than the last masterpiece, and, much more polies.
That model could probably be like 4K, and with you skin, and look beautiful! ;)

Glad everybody likes it. I'm trying to think of something to do next... might actually be an Uruk-Hai... hmmm. Suggestions welcome (within the realm of possibility  ).

ps. could you post a short explanation how to render units with poses/animations in 3dsmax (so not just the T-pose)? ;)

It would be very hard to write a short explanation on that. The method I used with gmax to pose things no longer works with the new tools (assuming you want to pose BFME models), so that option's out. The best way I guess would be to rig and then pose the bones yourself. Alternately, you could go the more professional way and use 3ds max's skinning tools (which you must if you're doing non-BFME stuff)... which you can google tuts for, I'm no good at it . Or use character studio if you have it.....

And here's the Wireframe view for people who want to see it

I really don't do requests and my Arnor Soldier is not fit for BFME. Don't ask me for either.

hmm, guess i'll ask the guys from Galaxy at War then, since they did it with General Grievous

anyway, an uruk would be cool, but anything non-gondor would be fine too
