Yes it would be like all the guirrilas and even the cuban intelligence making support... I think it would be a realistic idea.
Something like South American Guerrilas United (SAGU)
It would englobe all those groups in one army.

I think it would be quite cool to have an alien team or something armed with lasers and super powerful weapons. They would have to be really expensive to balance it though.
