Chrono weapons aren't super lethal...NEXUS wanted something faster and more tried-and-tested. Like lasers. And railguns (a rip of the allied particle cannon)

And NEXUS didn't make NEXUS, thats why theres only one NEXUS ^_^
I agree with AG, NEXUS wouldn't care about casualties, but ease of production. Like the classic 5 Shermans vs 1 Tiger, 4 Shermans would be destroyed for each Tiger, but if you can build 5 times as many, and don't care about the losses, why the hell not?!?

That's part of why you lose, IMO. Nexus infantry are excellent, especially when you pour them into, say, Raven transports or Rippers...

I defy you to get past a building garissoned by Executioners without an airstrike or long-range artillery. Just as I defy you to get past a building loaded with Guardians without the same.

NEXUS should defenitely make an appearance in this mod. It is Robot Storm's prequel. Wondering if its the same AI, that's a good point. This lets us seem him before he became powerful.

I like the idea of this mod.

It won't be the same AI.ini if that's what you mean. It WILL be the same character.

I was referring to the NEXUS AI itself. Given that this is set earlier, he'll be less advanced.
I.E. Using fewer amphibious and laser units in battle.
As for the in-game AI, that was a given. It's a different time setting.

NEXUS is indeed less advanced, but that's more to do with what he's doing and for whom. That's not to say he's slouching at this point tho. :) You should see a few familiar units :dry:

Fate of nexus for WZ is open atm but the old RS turret in question has been given to public now. http://forums.revora...p...pid=526001
