B) Why did Trolls come to mind? I was looking for something that would stand out and be unique for Isengard. It also didn't seem too far fetched an idea for me, what with Isengard being at the foot of the Misty Mountains.
C) Crebain might be added as a power for Saruman, but not as a recruitable unit.

I like the idea of C, B makes sense and A I would have to agree with. Maybe make the Elite something like the Uruk Deathbringer that ROTWK has; I know, not very stimulating, but it would make sense. They coud have like a special design of armour exclusive to that rank. Meh, I can't think of anything better.A) I don't really like the idea of any wildmen being more "elite" than Uruks of any kind. They always came off to me as the rabble of Isengards armies. Your other reasons for them, Matias, are quite intriguing though (especially the visual aspect of them standing out from the Uruks).

EDIT: Maybe a shield-bearing uruk, wich hits with his shield, and don't care much about arrows
or an uruk with two swords, or a double bladed uruk

Oohoohoo! I remember those guys! Definitely not as interesting as making a Troll, but would certainly follow the books better. I might go with these guys.If i recall correctly, at the Battle of the Fords of Isen there were half-orcs armed with two handed axes. In fact, it was one of these that cut down Theodred, the Prince of Rohan. Perhaps these could be used as Isen's elite unit? they could be shock infantry, able to cut down infantry with ease but would fall to archers. They would be available at the lvl 2 or 3 uruk pit and would be fully upgradeable.

dunno if it is already mentioned somewhere before, but perhaps you could throw in the one ring somewhere?? for good you can use more powers or something and evil gets Sauron.......
although you would have to fight hard to get the ring.
else it would be wo would get the ring first wins.....
and elite's for Gondor would be nice.
edit: perhaps some more Rhun units??
or perhaps a new faction of Rhun or man of the east
srry, i am a great Rhun/ elves freak

So here are my current thoughts. Not saying that these will fix everything, but they're just preliminary thoughts.
Gondor
- add Aragorn
- add Denethor (weak attacking unit, but will have some interesting traits and abilities)
Rohan
- remove Aragorn
- buff Eomer, Eowyn, and Theoden (Eomer will receive the most "buff'age"; Eowyn will have a more useful bonus against the Witch King)
- buff Gimli and also make him a little more useful aside from being a tank
- add Erkenbrand and/or Elfhelm. Erkenbrand would be easier to make unique for gameplay, but Elfhelm would be much easier for me to create art for
Isengard
- add Grima
- add Sharku
- buff Saruman
Mordor
- make Witch King more versatile (including dismounting and abilities)
- add two ground Nazgul (on foot + horse mount)

Edit: I forgot to ask, is this for TEA or TLT?

I thought I was rather good with the story of the Fords of Isen, and I don't remember a red cape. Was this described at Helm's Deep? One thing on Erkenbrand though, are you gonna skin him like he was described in the books, with a flying red cape? Cause (no offence whatsoever) that's where the RA missed out on, unless I'm mistaken.
Look at what thread you're in.Edit: I forgot to ask, is this for TEA or TLT?

Alright, good, TLT. And about Erkenbrand, yeah, I am talking about Helm's Deep. I've got the book in my hand now, and it says that he was described as having a red...shield? :( My bad. Though, I reckon he would look a whole lot better with the red cape, and it would stand out in the crowd.I thought I was rather good with the story of the Fords of Isen, and I don't remember a red cape. The paragraph goes like this: There suddenly upon a ridge appeared a rider, clad in white, shining in the rising sun. over the long hills the horns were sounding. Behind him, hastening down the long slopes, were a thousand men on foot; their swords were in their hands. Amid them strode a man tall and strong. His shield was red. As they came to the valley's brink, he set to his lips a great black horn and blew a ringing blast.
That would suggest to give him a 'Horn of Gondor'-esque ability. Some sort of Leadership would be good as well.
