I thought as much, that house colours would be removed. Hopefully it'll be done with all the other factions. If only Celeglin was willing to reskin the Evil units........meh, too much time to do that.

One thing. Before you completely resign yourself to "Orthanc Elites" consider the name "Orthanc Vanguard". Vanguards are usually the first into battle, and therefore, the most veteran/powerful. I just kind of thought the name Elite was kind of bland. No offense to you, Olorin/Lauri.

Alsch! What brings you to these forums? Well, Lauri thought of the idea anyway, so you should apologize to him. Orthanc Vanguard sounds sweet, but I don't know, there's something about Orthanc Elites that sounds right for the new Uruk. Meh, it's Cel's decision.

Just a question though: will you be reskinning all the original heroes? Or touching up on them (adding those aforementioned 'small details')? Because they will look a bit out of date compared with these new bits of eye-candy.

Just about every Elven hero has been "updated" with these "small details". You'll probably see them in the next mod release or in the new site. Heroes for the original factions are done (reskin-wise), with the exception of Aragorn and any further changes I may make to Eowyn.

They'll only be using some of the Rhun animations. I'm converting and modifying other unit animations to that skeleton for them.

he said that an elf shouldn't be using SoR anims But as Cel said, their edited so it's good I agree with cahik, only I don't really like SoR in the game cause I usually play good and they kill my cav!

and that's why they are soo good. they make you scared.
and you shouldn't fight with rohan or any cavalry against all harad and Rhun units.

btw, they rock against all units ingame
one SoR battalion can kill 7 not upgraded uruk hai battalions.

but when they are modified it is fine with you all.

I was just waiting for someone else to say something before I replied, and so I could say something else as well.

Gondor and Rohan get Eilte units?

OK Guest, to clear things up for the last time: all the factions (that's Mordor, Gondor, Rohan, Isengard, Rhovanion, and Eriador) will get Elite units. Those Elite units will be:

Gondor - Citadel Guards and slightly less Elite (or something like that) Fountain Guards
Mordor - Black Uruks
Isengard - Orthanc Elites/Vanguard
Rohan - Mounted Royal Guard
Rhovanion - Silver Tree Guardians
Eriador - Noldor Warriors

And if you ask whether Rohan or Gondor will get Elite units again, may a forum leader delete all your posts.
