Alright, where can we find the autoexec.lua? Can't find it anywhere.

Those weren't fixed?

I dunno, as I dunno what version I have.
That's what she said.

Autoexec.lua thread is nearby to this one. I Pinned it. Make sure you are running 3.20 of the SS AI (which Apoc should be now).

Is there any autoexec code for relic points, population cap and instant win?

Hi,

I recently started experimenting with DoW ME and have an idea for a map, where some locations will be covered with custom-made planar surface (as in the picture under the soiler). It's a part of the gameplay feature and as such can't be replaced by a decal or stamp.

Spoiler

The drawback of this approach is that there will be no shadows or damage decals because the planar surface model shares the same vertical coordinates as the terrain.

Thus my question is if there is any possible solution to this problem via scripting, where all shadow or damage decals would be forcefully introduced under the units/damages slightly above the terrain level?

Or in case if the decals are inextricably related to the generated terrain, is it feasible to make the same approach but instead of decals use the preliminary modelled "shadow surfaces" (which could be done by involving alpha-channel and opacity property of the material in 3d max)"?

Regards,
PankRat

Unfortunately DOW does not support alpha channel that way. You will have issues with the alpha leaking to models stepping onto them or adjunction to them. Best to use decals.

If you still want to try the model approach, then convert manually to DDS with the texture tool and convert only to DXT1 but can't assure you will be without issues. Because again, DOW1.

Now for your script question, I am afraid that is not possible at all.

Best of luck to you.
