The Wars of the East is basically an expanded version of the Istari of Middle-Earth mod. It includes loads of new stuff including new heroes, units, structures, upgrades and powers. I don't really have any screenshots yet, but I reveal the new units (new heroes not on the list) now:

Men
- Hildorien Axemen
- Lossoth Fighters
- Dunedain Swordsmen

Elves
- Cuivienen Pikemen
- Entings
- Men of Dorwinion

Dwarves
- Dwarven Miner

Mordor
- Soldiers of Rhun
- Dark Easterlings

Isengard
- Uruk Raiders
- Half-Orc Spearmen

Goblins
- Balchoth Archers

Angmar
- Cold Drake
- Stone Trolls
- Mewlip

I'm the coder, skinner and leader of this mod, Lord of Nazgul95 is the mapper. If you have any ideas or suggestions regarding this mod, post them here.

Sweet. What other powers Boldog has ?

Boldog's powers:
1 - Inspire (nearby Goblins and Gundabad Royal Guard gain a damage & armor boost and can resist knockback)
2 - Sword of Utumno (Gives Boldog a huge attack damage radius)
3 - Lone Tower (Summons a fire arrow equiped sentry tower)

And for those who want the Istari of Middle-Earth mod, try this:

DOWNLOAD LINK

Hope it works (Remember you must have BfME II with Patch 1.03 only to get it working)!

Witch-king, Khamul and Morgomir:

Khamul on his Fellbeast:

Horror of Harad (new Mordor power) cursor:

And here you see what the power summons:

Groth the Worm, new hero for the Goblins:

And I think some of you want to see the hero list of this mod, so here you are:

Dwarves
- Thorin Stonehelm

Mordor
- Gorbag
- Khamul

Isengard
- Mauhur

Goblins
- Groth the Worm
- Boldog

Angmar
- Carcharoth (RINGHERO)

I would rather see Ugluk than Mauuhur but the rest...brilliant. How about adding more unit? Like Morgul orcs to mordor or Black Uruks...more units and less heroes :p And a book hero maybe? Maybe Imrahil to lead Dol Amroth (Dol-Amroth not a hero-horde but a normal horde of elite knights and Dunedain given as a hero horde) and Erkenbrand to lead Rohan footmen ?

I think I will stick with Mauhur since Ugluk is in most of the other mods and I wanted to give Isengard another archer hero. Mordor already has too many heroes, and MoTW has way too many heroes, so I have to think about your ideas (anyway they're quite good).

Thx...I hope you'll make Dol Amroth elite cavalry but not mini-horde and make Dunedain mini-horde for there were 700 foot and 700 horse amroth's in books and only 40 Dunedain...and they were concidered elites so...you know... :p Lossoth were far too much on north tbh...I would give men rather something new from Rohan maybe Rohan Warriors on foot and Erkenbrand?

Dunedain will no longer be buildable from the Inn, they can now be trained from Level 3 Archer Range, but I don't know if I'll make them a hero horde. MotW already have Gamling and Rohan Peasants, so I think that's enough Rohan stuff. Lossoth are a special infantry unit (trained from the Inn or Summoned by using a Spellbook power). They have both spearmen and swordsmen in their battalion (because they were not good at fighting). I wanted to put Lossoth into the mod so there would be a bit more variation between the units. But keep posting your ideas!

When Wars of the East mod is finished, that could take about a month if I do this really fast... Have you tried Istari of Middle-Earth yet?

Dunedain are as strong as ithilien so buff em or make em hero-horde. And ideas? Hmm...how about making Huorn Forest as a summon for elves? It would be like Watcher from water but on much larger area 15 or even 25 point power. They would destroy every enemy that come close. And for Mordor...how about Black Uruks as a elite 3 lvl orc pit units. And Witchking 10 lvl power should be stronger...not only taking out hero powers to just used but not only 1 enemy heroes but all nearby enemy heroes. It should pin them down to the place and give them some damage too. And morgul orcs as a stronger orc type but spammable too? They could be reskinned black orcs...as they are strange and awful looking...You could give them bow/sword toggle, good armor and medium attack. And how about a Shagrat hero for Mordor to lead these Black Uruks? And who are Hildorien Axemen? If you wanted Axemen maybe you'll make "Lossarnach Axemen" who came to Minas Tirith before siege in ROTWK in books? And Thorin Stonehelm idea is great! Hope you'll re-name Prince Brand to KING Brand though :p

The first thing I did when modding RotWK was I changed Brand's name. Hildorien Axemen are men from the Eastern lands of Middle-Earth, Hildorien is the place where the first men woke during the first age. After all, this is the Wars of the East, so units like Cuivienen Pikemen, Hildorien Axemen and Soldiers of Rhun had to be included. And as I said before, Mordor has already so many units compared to all the other factions, I can't really add any more stuff, but those ideas are great, hope I could use them!

I hope you'll add them. Maybe you will re-mod Arnor into Rhun for you have now many Rhun units....re-making new factions is easier than making...and pieces of Arnor are in game...it is needed only to change from no to yes.
