Plus they'd need to pay royalties to Tolkien Enterprises :D

Yeah, that too.

Okay question. Im sure this had came up in the past, but im too lazy to look for it. How will the Gondor Trebuchets work? On the site you can see an unassembled trebuchet pulled by horses. Do you have to build a trebuchet, wagon it over to a spot, and assemble it on the spot to siege?

I think it'll work similar to Age of Empires: you have to recruit (build) one, it comes out on a wagon, then when you go out on a siege you set it down in a particular spot, and either it will have a build/demolish button (telling it to construct/deassemble itself), or it will do so automatically i.e. you tell it to attack something and it will just go over there, get into range and assemble itself and fire. Something like that, I hope.

I think that the assembling and dissembling would be manual. It would be more more realistic that 2 men pushing a trebuchet. Thanks by the by, though i am not familiar to age of empires

Yes, because of its sheer size, the new Gondor Trebuchet requires you to manually "undeploy" for it to move (but cannot attack) and "deploy" on the battlefield into a stationary mode to fire (but be rendered immobile).
Hence, the Trebuchet loses its ability to move then fire immediately from the original BFME1.

Neither do I, I just saw my cousin playing on it once and it had a similar concept, except it did it automatically, I think.

Yay, I was right! Good to hear that Gondor now has the best ranged siege weapon. :D

i have a question for once :D : Will heroes all start at level 1 or will some start at different ones? like Boromir/Faramir started at 3 (patch 1.03), Gandalf/Saurman/Aragorn started at 5, and the Nazguls/Witch-king started at 10

Well, now that the Nazgul (including the big man) have actual abilities, I think they will start at a lower level. As for the others, I reckon it'll stay the same, because in a quick Skirmish match you never get time to level up your heroes, and so they'll have to start off higher than normal. But then again I could be wrong.

Sophisticated.

I've also seen the Mordor catapults, they're probably weaker than the Gondor trebuchet, and they are pushed into battle by trolls. So they can attack you quicker but they are weaker in strength but probably good with power.

Will the Gondor Trebuchets have a greater range then the Mordor Catapults?

well, based on the fact that it needs to pack\unpack (well, I guess facts) it should have a greater range than the catapult... I mean, the mordor catapult can only go in there, fire, and step away... the treb needs to unpack, fire, and pack again, then he can step away.... But the treb looks soo sweet

Yeah, I would've thought that; they have greater range to compensate for their packing/unpacking. But even in reality a trebuchet was more powerful than a catapult, so I would expect them to have pretty good range, well out of reach of the catapults.

What are the castle-trebuchets going to look like though? Because if they are improved then it may help turtlers. BTW I dont actually know the answer to this.
