Changing the subject a bit, what does everything think the ability for the wainriders is? Is it kind of like a charge ability, like the Mumakils?

Also - sorry about all the questions, but I feel they help start good discussions - I was reading the general descriptions for the new factions (I know, I'm a total loser), and I came across this in the Erebor description: "Special defensive formations make the Erebor infantry even more resistent to enemy ranged attacks and will drive the enemy into close combat." Does this mean they will have something like the turtle formation, with shields raised?

I would say they would be the same. There wouldn't be much need to make the two different. And Gondor usually turtles, so upgrading the trebuchets will compliment that strategy. What are the castle-trebuchets going to look like though? Because if they are improved then it may help turtlers. BTW I dont actually know the answer to this.
They might've been used in that manner, but that's highly unlikely. Tolkien's idea with this is exceptional in terms of strategy.Tough to say, as historically trebs weren't really used as a defensive measure, let alone on a wall.
I think that the Harsovi will be able to combine with other battalions, but maybe I'm just taking this from the Elven Alliance. And yeah, that statement about the Dwarves would point to that, and I hope they do, as well as some other formations giving different bonuses.Fair enough. Continuing with discussions, will the Mirkwood harsovi be able to combine with other battalions, as an attached-healer, behind the fighters who protect her?

And to your question about the Dwarven shields, my guess is that they'll have a unit that'll have a big tower shields, and they'll be a real tough, defensive unit.

In the picture of the Guard of the Fountain it has a picture with what looks like a symbol for "leadership", is it?
description on the gondor's page
To the locals and outsiders alike, the sight of the Fountain Guards show a glimpse of the glory of Numenor long lost in the waves.

Nah, I doubt it'll be that. If anything it should be the other way around; Denethor will give leadership to the Guards of the Fountain Court. But I think their leaderhsip is going to be something like a defensive and/or experience bonus, or maybe a damage bonus. Is the leadership for the fountain court guards something to do with denethor? he can only leave the fortress with some guards so maybe this is symbolizing that
King Earnur you might as well register. You've been posting so much in these forums lately, so why not?
