A few changes have been made to Dol Guldor they will now lose the Lesser Troll units (i'm sad about that) they will be replaced with Orc Brutes who will function similarly to the Lesser trolls with 2 different versions mellee and crossbows they will be in hordes of 5 and their weapons will do a small AOE.

Dol Guldor will get a new hero that will help address some of Dol Guldor's weaknesses.

Snaga gets a new ability that allows to him to "track" an enemy basically once hit with the tracking arrow the target unit can be seen for a while this allows you to spy on ambush points and watch their bases.
Malgevil will also get this ability as well Herus (Harad Hero1).

New FX have been made for the Orc Summons,Spider Summons and the More Orcs spell.
More news on all this later.

The Elven Watchstation will be renamed the Lorien Sanctuary and will be remade.

Dol Guldor is nearing completion with only a couple new units 1 new hero a couple building states and some button art to go.
High Elves are also getting closer to being finished.
I'll be concentrating on finishing these 2 factions in the coming weeks and i'll be finishing off 2 factions at a time from then.

In other Dol Guldor news the Dol Guldor Orc Rabble have another orc skin added, the Citadel has been updated.
The Dwarf Archery Range and mine have been fixed and the Dwarf Citadel has been updated.

when you've finished high elves and Dol Guldor,
what number of finished factions would you get?

With the holidays coming up I have a lot of free time and Lone Wolf will be kicking into overdrive during this time I will probably be quieter around here on the forums.

Not as good as the last ones but still good, a quick suggestion:
Why don't you use the stuff you made from lone wolf 2?

A lot of the Lone Wolf 2 stuff was Lone Wolf stuff.
There were a couple skins and some Variag units that I haven't used but will probably be used at a later time.

The Dunland Watchmen are units for Isengard they are part of something I have been playing around with.
Basically they are citadel defenders. Some citadels will be able to build a couple units to defend it's self.Havens will also get this.

Gondor will have the Citadel Guards(go figure).
Isengard will get the Watchmen
Mordor will get the Morannon Sentry
Dol Guldor will get Wraith Slaves
Morgul will get Morgul Knights
Shire will get Bounders
Green Elves will get Guards of the Lady
High Elves will get Gil Galad's Guards
Rohan will get Royal Guards
Harad I haven't decided
Rhun will get the Darkmen of Rhun
Wilderland will get Esgaroth Hall Guards
Dwarves will get Bombur and Durin's Guards

Impromptu news time.
I have started redesigning the Elven banners each will be different.
First up is the Rivendell Banner I have to different renders to show for it one for the standard foot version and the mounted version.
They are being uploaded at the moment.

On top of this I have touched up the Morgul Orc and Dol Guldor Orc textures.
The Dol Guldor,Morgul and Goblin Banners have also been updated(should be in the next lot of screenshots).

The Morgul Orc Cheiftain (aka Skully, aka Orc LNT) has had his Orc Summon redone the Orcs now follow him they are slaved to him and can not be selected or upgraded. Each can only have one Orc Horde summoned
at any one time.Once the Cheiftain is killed they can be selected.

The Orc Slavemaster (Mordor) will have something similar.

The Teaching Whip ability for the Slavemaster/chieftain has been removed because I can't get it working :(

The Citadel Guards can not be selected so a toggle will be useless for them.
They stick close to the citadel and defend it.

It will be using the books as primary reference with the movies providing the more visual reference with a little of my own ideas thrown in to round it out.

Oh and welcome to T3A.

What the hell I'll throw in another 4 renders finished just this minute.
This time it is the Nazgul 2 renders on foot and 2 mounted.(1 of each has a light background so it can be seen easier)
The Nazgul now look more ragged with torn clothing, they are darker and their horses also.
Their Horses now have ragged cloth on them.
