Very nice screenies! :p By the way, the Gondor battalions don't include six soldiers, do they?

very nice.

just thought i'd ask something: in the screen of Denethor, i noticed one of the "captains" looks very much like Beregond and i'm going to assume that it is him. Would i be incorrect in thinking that he will be just like the other Captains of Gondor save for his appearnace and name being unique to him? Perhaps slightly higher stats but otherwise almost completely similar to the others?

Thanks for clearing that up. The picture kind of looks like the citadel guards come individually, is that how it is, or are they just spread apart like that on accident?

The Citadel Guards come out in groups, while the Captains of Gondor come out individually, if I'm not mistaken. I think they're just spread out by accident.

They're spread out because they are Denethor's escort Cit guards and therefore uncontrolable.

So is that going to be one of his abilities; summoning Citadel Guards that hang around and protect Denethor while you have no control over them whatsoever? If so, are they permanent (or until they die), or do they have a timer? Either way I'm loving the idea. :sad2:

Well they're built with him. Other Heroes with escorts ATM are Thranduil (Taurdrim) and Celeborn (Silver Tree Guardians) though prehaps we'll ditch it for Celeborn as having his escort running to keep up when he's on horseback looks kinda funny.

How doesn't it sound so sweet? And I'm a little busy to come to the mIRC channel at the moment. I should be on later in the week though.

Another 10/10 for the wow factor. :p I definately didn't see that one coming. Very nice idea. :sad2:

Nope, I don't think they will be able to automatically toggle between bow and sword.

lol.. no you say it like they are summonable, and that doesn't sounds really cool or something.. but anyways.. do celeborn or thranduil need guards?.. I mean denethor is an old man who isn't very good capable of fighting, but thranduil and celeborn are quite powerfull with the blade I think...

But they did have guards in the books, and Denethor would be too unique if he were the only one with guards. And what's wrong with making Thranduil (and maybe Celeborn) more powerful than they already are? :sad2:
