I Don't think there would be any ring heroes at all, but something else instead. I do think that there would at least be some sillmaril heroes, first of which would be Morgoth for Angband. I also think that Turin Turambar should be a hero, since he was the one to slay Glaurung, even though he killed himself on his own sword afterwards.
