yeh wel it sounds familiair yust like nazgul says clean all, delete ur custom maps that might solve the problem and dont be so stupid as ME and put the file in MY BFME2 FILES and not in the main folder :xcahik_:

most crashes and bugs come from old files and things that would bother the mod, thats my experience but im not a pro in things like this (not yet)

Well, it doesn't feel to ggod to recommend someone to reinstall Windows XP just for this mod (Cause I do hope you aren't using Vista, cause that SUCKS *lol*). But anyway, some seems to have got stuff working by doing so... but I don't wanna be the one telling you TO do it. I mean if you would still have the problem, then you wouldn't like me too much :p

All I can say is that I know this mods works! :S

G'day guys, I've been using computers for years nowe but for the life of me I can't set my windows explorer to show hidden files. I don't know how to access explorer or find the tools folder.

Another thing, I also DO NOT have an Application Data folder. I know where I'm meant to look but it's not there. I've searched the computer for it but nothing comes up. So there's no 'My Battle for Middle Earth 2' folder.

Can someone please help me???

1) Set your Windows Explorer to show hidden files by using:
“Tools/ Folder Options/ View/ Show hidden files and folders”.

I managed to find Windows Explorer but every time it goes to My Documents. I know this isn't meant to happen. It's like there isn't any Windows Explorer at all. I'm typing things into google to work this out but there isn't much help out there.

Oh ok... :thumbsupsmiley: Well Windows Explorer is always accessible through "Start/All Programs/Accessories/..." if you need to find it again... =) Glad it works

WHAT? Where did you get those files?? You've done something COMPLETELY wrong? I have no idea what those files are and how you got them...

1) Download the RAR
2) Unpack the RAR
3) Read "Installation Instructions" - it's a PDF so you will need PDF Reader

Those files contain the skirmish stats, and have nothing to do with the mod. Right folder though

Try redownloading. I had this problem once, but I can't remember how I got into it. (I got out of it by redownloading, I think :p ) This time, if you didn't do it before, save the download, don't run it.

And make sure you didn't delete the internet temp files. (or maybe you didn't click and drag?) ;)

But work at it untill you get it! You won't regret your hard work! ;)

Edit: For that one giritian (sp?) guy, if you have trouble finding the My Battle for Middle-earth file, go to Start-->Run-->%appdata%
Also type exactly what the readme says in the correct box.
