Once again I must also repeat what Sûl said so elegantly recently about SEE becoming a true Community Project sort of, and it really has! It went from a really good mod (MarksMod) to an even better mod, thanks to the help and donations of T3A Modders, and my free time and undying dedication to the help you all gave me
But what happened after Sûl joined was that the project litterally went into another stratosphere with really professional coding and new possibilities that I could never do myself. And last but not least - the help of Robnkarla and his amazing Bug Fixes and Hex Editing
I think it's time to devote a special ThankYou Thread or page on the site for this. Everyone that have contributed in this project should be recognized in a more permanent manner. I'll think of something...
This though:
What bar, where? On the site?? *going to check*(EDIT) almost forgot your screenshots page Network Bar isn't working correctly.

Got SEE onto the MEV front page. Although I'm a bit pissed that he didnt include the RA contest I asked him to post as well.

Allthough, we were quickly bumbed by our all time favourite - guess who? YES - Guess Who...
..."ain't that a kick in the head"... *singing Dead Martin*Evil Mod II by Guess Who (ROTWK Game Mods) -- This mod adds several new units and heroes that EA forgot, a...
I mean... wtf... is that even a mod??? Don't MEV have higher standards than that??? They accept GH's non-mod, but they refuse the RA-contest???

It would be greatly appreciated if you could notify us about any significant updates to your mod via email or forum PM, as we can then post announcements much sooner.
If you like, we can also act as a mirror for your main releases, should you feel that is necessary.

About MEV: I've gotten some "disturbing" thoughts about MEV... (not the guy sending the post, but the content of the post = MEV). Any comments on this? Any one else that feels MEV don't "deserve" us
Personally I have no XP with them at all...
I know you want SEE out there. But in my time around these forums, allowing it to go on MEV is like allowing it to go on EA's site; it would be to generate traffic to their own site and not because they believe in you guys and what you're doing. At least dont let them host a download. Those people over there could care less about bfme, its more like a sorority club for misfit toys. Ever since they ran nick off....but thats old news.

edit: but if you need hosting...you might have to? Unless other sites will help. Maybe just use MEV for advertising and redirecting what little traffic they have to where the real game is at

MEV is run by joker aka sledgehammer from bttournements. MEV was hostile to T3A even when Nick ran it. joker has even removed us from bttournements. So the new admin isnt any more T3A friendly than the old one. Thanks you so much Freek =)

Keep in mind and notice, he didn't link to your site. He linked to a revora fourm link. So just simply be happy they even posted it. Maybe you requested he lnk not to your site. I don't know that one way or the other.
But IMO I noticed niether Nick nor joker are what I would call, mmm T3A friendly. It's basically a rivalry that started back when the game and those sites (as well as ours) were created.
Unlike MEC which we've been fairly tight with over the years.
And look closely on this point. Seeing as we're already on EAs site. Talk about bloviation from MEV.I know you want SEE out there. Anyways, I'm not particulary fond of supporting MEV if they don't support T3A. T3A is our home and I have no use for MEV really other than to unload you of bandwidth...
Why is that, really? So the new admin isnt any more T3A friendly than the old one.

Joker seems fine with me sending him important updates to post, I've even got his personal email address. However there is a lot of hostility towards him still on MEV forums.

Yup!*Naz to myself: I better stay out of politics*
Seems like the site T3A understands that increased presence helps everyone. Maybe thats why this site is still active and not drying up.
Someone who has the marketing attitude of "it's for the players" will step up....maybe. Wouldnt it be great if Weta or WingNut did gaming?

He did link to the site actually, in the first line. Though I have sent him an email earlier asking why he didn't put up the RA Contest item, he says that should be posted up soon. Also, he's admin at MEC too
Joker seems fine with me sending him important updates to post, I've even got his personal email address. However there is a lot of hostility towards him still on MEV forums.
He's our network admin (we moved from Ogres Network to Big Time Tournament network), but he doesn't really have much to do with the day-to-day buisness of running the site. Just the main direction and any server-related technical stuff.
Besides, I've always enjoyed working with Sledgehammer, and I dont see him as someone who would have an unreasonable hatred of T3A. If there even is such a thing, I'm sure it has some sort of reason.
By the way, I tried your latest Beta and I have to say I've been enjoying it very much. Keep up the good work!
