Tbh, people didn't want to discuss the topic at hand- which meant that the only other topic was an almost 8-month old one. So there was open ground for spamming and besides, I did not start it. In all seriousness it was Rob that started it, not that I'm against it, just that your bureaucracy can be irritating. So lighten up. It won't hurt.

Oh, and on topic spam is welcome. But not off topic spam So do some research about what we were talking about, and then you can bash the offenders better.

Lol. Nah, I wasn't bashing anyone. Just going along with the 'pic wars'. I know that you didn't want to start a Gandalf versus Witch-King debate which it seems you have had at length, on a previous occassion. Anyhow, I'd love to stay on-topic. Hmm, I wonder what it's going to be about; the 8-month old topic then, huh?

I just view the whole Flaming Sword scene as; "the only Gandalf VS. WK part that they could include without making the movie 5 hours long". Besides, weren't they equal in power? That's what I've always read in my version of LOTR...

By the way, I am not trying to start up a WK VS. Gandy debate....

Though technically his post falls short of 'acceptable' in two, maybe three ways:
- Mentioning Gandalf is clearly off-topic, though the Witch-King would be acceptable.
- He jumped straight back onto the topic that no-one wished to revisit.
- And he's condoning the necro-post by Crazy Intellectual.

But I, personally wouldn't complain. Just saying that even by your own standards, his post has not made the grade, no? So why are you guys rubbing it in with me?

I should add that I was absolutely wrong to triple-post, but I don't think I should be getting bashed for spamming.

You aren't getting bashed really...we're just messing with you.

Though I might note, our spam (which rob indeed started, when all of us who posted were having a 5 way msn convo ) was at least on the topic of the issue that CIL brought up. Therefore it was on-topic spam. Your spam had nothing to do with stopping the Gandalf-WK debate, so it was off-topic spam.

Off topic spam will absolutely not be tolerated (and neither will on topic posts! ). If you ever do something like this again, I'll have to get the team's loudest beta tester and tell him to hunt you down and demote you to a pink scorpion.
