We have something like that in my/neighboring high schools called 'Academic Challenge', not recommended for the academically challenged. Some of my upperclassmen friends are on it, and it gets broadcasted on local/semi-local news stations.

If I suddenly go MIA, I might've crashed while driving.

Yeah, I just got my license... :good:

On my way to get mine as well :good:
It has been reported that some victims of rape, during the act, would retreat into a fantasy world from which they could not WAKE UP. In this catatonic state, the victim lived in a world just like their normal one, except they weren't being raped. The only way that they realized they needed to WAKE UP was a note they found in their fantasy world. It would tell them about their condition, and tell them to WAKE UP. Even then, it would often take months until they were ready to discard their fantasy world and PLEASE WAKE UP

I got mine last year... and, surprisingly enough for the United States, I am a good driver. :p

I celebrate working my first shift at work, at the U.S. legal limit (for minors) of 5 hours. But now my ankles are sore from standing up all day...

Careful. This link is DANGEROUS. Do NOT click it. This one, however, is fine.

I had the meaning of life in my signature, but it exceeded the character limit.

Pffff, try working shifts of 45 hours a week, for three weeks long in the summer, then come back to complain to me about your old job :p

I worked two weeks solid, by which I mean including the weekends, 8.30-6 most days but 7a.m. to 9p.m. on show day. I was part of the setup crew for the Thame Show, which involved lots of heavy lifting and putting up fencing and getting sunburnt. That said, on show day we were 'stewarding' *ahem* and thus started drinking at about half past ten. But apart from that, it was some hard and long work.

I've actually been able to drive longer than I've been a member here, so coming on four years now. Statistically, I'm a great driver, having only a few weeks ago had my first accident, assuming punctures don't count.
I hope I am a good enough writer that some day dwarves kill me and drink my blood for wisdom.

I do so love my lazy research job...

On an awesome note, I finished assembling my new desktop and it appears to work very well! In minutes, Dawn of War 2 will be used to test the video card.

I really don't do requests and my Arnor Soldier is not fit for BFME. Don't ask me for either.

I went to Oxford (again), for a History open day. The sample lectures were very good! I got to visit Merton and Mansfield colleges, and in Mansfield spoke one-on-one with a tutor who turned out to be the nicest person ever! Though I nearly missed the train... running through Oxford, through crowds, wasn't much fun. Plus, I missed the first day back to school, which people tell me was dull and not of any use at all. :p
