I've been here for coming up to four years. I joined Revora before I even went to university, and now I've got a finished degree. Shit be crazy. Anyway, I celebrate that my foot injury thing is more or less healed again. Turns out dealing with a problem in a prompt and effective manner really helps solve it. Who knew?
I hope I am a good enough writer that some day dwarves kill me and drink my blood for wisdom.

Happy Birthday Spart, mine was the 1st, pretty boring day to be honest :p But (supposed to be) having friends rounding camping somewhere around mine this weekend, if it happens, it will be epic :p You'd have to know the people though

Thanks Spart :p Got the double bass pedal for my drums, now just need to learn how to use it

Edit: Celebrate getting 900 posts in 4 years, does this mean I have a life? :crazed: I joke :p

Not until you get as many as me. Then you will have an acceptably sized e-penis. :p

Careful. This link is DANGEROUS. Do NOT click it. This one, however, is fine.

I had the meaning of life in my signature, but it exceeded the character limit.

It doesn't count if your e-penis is made of spam. (That is possibly the least erotic sentence I have ever written.)

Also, Neth, you've only been here 3 years. It's not 2012 yet. You can tell by the way the world hasn't ended.

Size doesn't matter, right? It's what you do with it that counts.

In other news, I just had a library induction in the Bodleian (I love that place). The first room we went is the room used for the hospital in Harry Potter. So much Hogwartz here...

God damn I love the architecture.

I've also been in Christchurch, where the stairwell (for the first film) and the hall were filmed. It's practically replicated in the movie, with few adjustments (sans CGI for magicky porpoises).
Of course Lewis is filmed here too, though they edit it so that streets don't cohere in the sequences. But, they are filming in one of my tutor's offices for Lewis, which is cool, but I'm really intimidated by that room (and its patron) already.

I will soon be studying in the Bod, which will be incredible. However I also quite like the Gladstone Link, which is the underground facility - no, it's not Gringotts, but it's a weird synthesis of Cold War bunker and the Death Star. Sadly, there's no pictures on Google which do it justice. I may have to rectify that. The bookcases look like they should hold warheads while the tunnelling passageways have come straight from the Death Star, with a curiously bold blue stripe.

Anyway, that is an incredible invention (or is it a discovery? - the property was inherent but the application indirect - perhaps its both). I would quite like to learn the science behind it (I am quite familiar with carbon nanotubes thanks to WJEC A level Chemistry and a general interest in nanotechnology), but the video(s) left a lot to be desired. Hooray for your school! I presume you'll be taking all the credit?

...Yes. Yes I will. I did all of it.

Unfortunately, our school's buildings are rather bland for the most part.
