It's good to see this game-expansion still in the works. You guys have churned out some amazing work. It's good to see a lot of the experienced modders still lingering around and improving their skills and letting the community benefit from that. I wish I still had the time and motivation, I miss modding and creating mod-tools.

Hehe, they are some funny anims, I can imagine a whole army of them jumping up and down like that. Nice one cahik_. :rolleyes: Have those units been shown before?

That just gave me a new idea. Are there gonna be any Dwarven 'captain'-type units? If there are, they could have a power called Baruk Khazad, which gives nearby troops a medium damage boost, morale boost and makes them the ability to do a minor trample (not to the extent of what cavalry can do), the former lasting much longer than the latter. Or that could be an ability for a unit instead. I'm not thinking of B4ME II, just the power that a Dwarven army could have seeing as they were described as very fearsome opponents. As a balance the power could slightly lower their armour for its duration.

Edit: forgot to mention, the power doesn't stack with other captains.

@Thorin;
because he is not...?

We've got (afaik);
Thorin
Thorin Oakenshield
Thorin III Stonehelm

This is a large place... Lots of members, and your names only start with the same... :rolleyes:

@Olorin;

June 17th. Four animations - one of a Dwarven Captain and three of Thranduil.

I was "Thorin II Oakenshield" on the old forums, and I still am. I just shortened it when I registered on here, although understandably some might mistake me for being the first Thorin :rolleyes:

This is the first time I've come across another Thorin on any of the LOTR/gaming-type forums I've been on in the past 4 years, let alone someone who chose the same 'reference character'!

Cool. :D It's hard to keep track of all the units.

What if all the captain units had a certain unique power that applied to their faction - it would be a little boring in mirror matches, but with all the factions the chances of having a mirror match are 1 in 8. This might've been thought of/mentioned before.

I really don't do requests and my Arnor Soldier is not fit for BFME. Don't ask me for either.

Thanky m@tt, it certainly looks like the Bowels of Hell (in a good way). But where's said Bridge of Khazad-dum? All I see is red magma and rocks.

Yet still, uniquely cool.
