that not much of a " fair " deal, if they gonna be that " switching way " again, then make them as quick as before ( without the need to click on lairs to speed them up )

The regular Nazgul are way too weak. I was recently playing them and I found that I always had to carefully watch their health bars. Especially if they're on the Fell-Beasts. Even in their later levels, I found myself constantly switching them out of battle so that they can heal. I suggest a defence buff.

Hmm, I didn't ever keep my nazgul mounted in the games that I played as Mordor because the AI always kept spamming pikes on me. I probably should have mentioned this before.

Since that's the case maybe something should be tweaked to the Nazgul mounted on horse, fell-beast, and on foot in regards to their stats?

nazghuls are ok with hp, i think they need a litttle attack bonus, like 10% more, for at lvl 2 they can still kill basic units in one shot

as i announced at Angmar - you guys changed mordor pretty much, but theres one thing that is bugging me really a lot

The basic mordor pikes MUST be removed, make them tier3 or something - not that they are created from U. pikemans ( soo they are much powefull than all other mordor early, mid. units ), but AI keeps spamming them instead to spam basic hordes ( which was the whole concept for Mordor, overwhelming hordes of orcs orcs orcs - melle infantry, not pikes ).
Im not saing that you need to REMOVE those pikes, but they need some work to do - less hp ( like wildmen pikemans of Angmar ), and lower speed ( they are pretty big too, they are higher than U. pikemans lol ). well theres a lot of work to do.

the point is - i played for gondor vs brutal mordor - RJ map - he kept spaming pikes, nothing other, time to time melle, and archers, he got black orcs sometime, and kept sending siege - he didnt even try to get other late games for mordor ( uruk tent, and units in it, no moranon, no better archers, no nothing just pike pikes pikes ). The worst thing is i had F.U 3 combo hordes of Knights, and could use them, for the pikes, were the only main unit he was getting - soo i let the knights rest ( after lost some of them due to this weird spamm ) and get som infantry + heroes ( heroes themself were pretty enoung - Ar. Bo. Fa. and Gan. )
before i continue - Heroes of Gondor does work after all ( my mistake ), i finally saw the skin change - but could you make them a bit " shinnier ", for i had to zoom in to get sure of that, and there is no stats bonus - why should i get this, if it only changes skin ( and turns gandalf to white ), its not woth the pp

the point is, AI is not using basic, good spamable orcs but instead it spams pike, and only pikes - please work on this, Im not saing that mordor cant have pikes, but im saing ( after you fix them ) make them tier3, becouse the mordor " pikes " are huge formations of cheap orcs that just serve as meat shield, and after the cawalery crush few of them, the rest ( still pretty many ) will deal the killing blow.
as for why isnt mordor using its full potential - i dont know ( he didnt get armory, nor u. tent )

I agree. Also as a sort of option, could RJ do smoething about the current "Counter-with-certain-units" thing that currently exists in the Game. And make it similar to what existed in BFME. Because it was more manageable, realistic, made gameplay intresting, and versitile. What EA designed for BFME 2 was a bad mistake. It may have been logical, but its too one-dimensional. What are your opinons?

yeh, i remember the times in BFME, where mordor countered cawalery with " massed, meat " which means tons of orcs. And troll is good counter too, wery good counter, for he is pretty much imune to slash ( sword ) dmg, and can take all mounted units in batallion at once.

It's already in the private beta. Archers are a bit less powerful and swords can stand up against them, cav are a lot stronger vs pikes and trample both archers and swords, etc. Mordor pikes a definatly a bit overpowered, but thats easy to fix. The reason ai doesnt go for tent is that it's not in their ai yet...


Edit: Oh, and heroes of gondor makes gandalf recharge faster and stronger, aragorn gets stronger and moves faster, boromir and faramir and pippin get better armor. Idk what you mean by it doesn't work....

Well... I dont know about public, but I was playing the new private yesterday and a Mordor hard used the orc tent against me. But then perhaps thats what you meant, not in public yet. So ai will probably use it in the next public release.

You mean the uruk tent? Wierd...I've never seen it, though I havnt played against mordor yet in the new private. What type of map where you playing...rj or bfme2?

yoda, they used the orc tent a bit in that game you and i played a few days ago. they didnt buy a lot from it, but they sent some morannon orcs at me. i thought it worked in the last public, but i may be wrong; it at least works now.

In almost every game iv played agaist mordor they always use the orc tent and they always use black orcs, i dont mind the pikemen spamming it makes mordor a harder foe to beat and i love a good spamming fight! I dont want to be the one bringing this up but did RJ give the Witch-King his flamming sword power?

Well maybe not all maps have Mordor using Uruk tent yet but in public version on Buckland, the AI uses Morannon Orcs. Maybe it depends on the map.

well yoda you play rj maps most of the time dont you? it might just be on rj maps that they arent used because their ai is different on rj maps is it not?

Im an idiot! Morranon orcs are from the tent! Oops, I was thinking mostly of black uruks and orc trackers.....though now that I think about it ive seen orc trackers too. My bad :unsure:

Since the Mumakil were moved to harad, could the Great Beasts be incorporated into Mordor, as a smaller, limited, but still effective heavy cavalry-like creature?

In case you on't know, the Great Beasts were the massive creatures that hauled Grond to the Battle field. Their outward appearances were used for the beasts of berdon used by the Dwarves, goven rediculous speeds for their build.
