The awesome Nazgul thinks my idea was good? I might faint... but anyways, I got the idea from the Galahdrim spearmen in TATW, and thought "hmm, something similar would be good for this problem in SEE

Can you change Mithlond Sentries in to something else? Mithlond wasn't able to participate in the WOTR due to VERY low numbers. Maybe make some kind of Mirkwood unit? btw, sorry for double posting, but I just had this idea and needed to share it

Thats actually along the lines of what I was thinking as well. I think the heavily armored mirkwood sentries with the spears from DOS would work nicely.

Will you add Tauriel? If so, i think her powers should benefit the normal Mirkwood archers, while Thranduil should benefit all Mirkwood troops.
Her powers could include:
Level 1: Stealth Shot: Passive power that allows her to shoot while stealthed
Level 4: Leadership: Mirkwood Archers near Tauriel gain +50% trample resistance and a slight knockback effect
Level 7: Woodland Guards: Summons an ambush of Mirkwood Archers for about 30 secs, they cannot be commanded but will protect the area
Level 10: Silvan Gifts: Makes an allied hero gain a 50% boost to all stats. Would have a long recharge, like 2 minutes or so.

The mod is set during the War of the Ring. She would be a summon if she was included.

WOW! That's an amazing concept! And it could be argued she participated in the WOTR as long as she doesn't die in BFA, however as Kili should I doubt she will. Just a suggestion though good people! Love all your work guys

I think that the elves should have more mirkwood units like....
Heroes:
Thranduil (reskinned rides a moose)
Tauriel
New units:
Mirkwood Hunter (Elite Archer)
Mirkwood Warrior (Elite Swordsmen)
Battle of the five armies veterans (elite archers, 5 allowed)
Mirkwood Pikemen (Elite pikemen)
Guards of the Elven Halls (Elite Pikemen 2 allowed)

That's a great idea. I'd love to have a Mirkwood subfaction, because they play a prominent role in the Hobbit movies, especially Battle Of The Five Armies. And Peter Jackson said the BotFA was the start of the War Of The Ring.

Yeah, he did. IMO The first battle of Osgiliath was the first battle in the War of the Ring. In the books, the Battle of the Five Armies didn't have much effect on WOTR because it was all goblins from the Misty Mountains.

Ikr. Why call the Battle of the Five Armies the start of WOTR, when there's 60 years of peace before Sauron even takes a next step? It's a nice argument to get more Mirkwood units in SEE though
